  Description

  Hi there! We are Sol and Okhan, 3 baby girls Lily, Lotus and Willow, 6 dogs, 2 cats, our chickens and horse; a big family! We live in the rural part of Sao Thome das Letras, the mystical city of Brazil; come find out in your spare hours about its history, esoterism and nature; it's a very unique place. We love to discover new places here; it's just magical the things that happen here... However it's not about Sao Thome , but yes our project NOVA TERRA 111; our farm is 9ha, it has a big forest full of life and water sources, a beginning agroforest and a big vegetable garden. The main goal of our project Nova Terra 111 is healthy fruits and veggies without chemicals for the community. People that feel like staying for a while and really want to engage in the project, they can! We're thinking of bringing like-minded people together to (co-)create this project together. We need it, we need to do something different!
  ...and that's where we would love to include you! If you are proactive, enthusiastic and don't mind making your hands dirty ; talk with us and let's see if we are a fit!   Olá, tudo joia? Somos Sol e Okhan, temos 3 filhas pequenas, Lily, Lotus e Willow, 6 cachorros, 2 gatos, nossas galinhas e nosso cavalo; uma família grande! Moramos na zona rural de São Tomé das Letras, a cidade mística do Brasil; venha descobrir em suas horas vagas sobre sua história, esoterismo e natureza; é um lugar muito unico. Adoramos descobrir novos lugares por aqui; é simplesmente mágico o que acontece aqui... No entanto, não se trata de São Tomé, mas sim do nosso projeto NOVA TERRA 111; nossa fazenda tem 9 hectares, com uma grande floresta cheia de vida e fontes de água, um agrofloresta em formação e uma grande horta. O principal objetivo do nosso projeto Nova Terra 111 é produzir frutas e verduras saudáveis, sem agrotóxicos, para a comunidade. Quem quiser ficar por um tempo e realmente se envolver com o projeto, pode! Estamos pensando em reunir pessoas com ideias semelhantes para (co)criar este projeto juntos. Precisamos disso, precisamos fazer algo diferente!

  The nearest town (22 km away), São Tomé das Letras, is very famous. Anyone interested in esotericism, mysticism, and history will love it; it has beautiful waterfalls and you'll feel right at home!
  With our daughters, I speak English, my husband, Okhan, speaks Portuguese; we also play music together and sell lots of handicrafts on the streets. We come from different cultures, so you'll get to know both.
  
  A cidade mais próxima (a 22 km), São Tomé das Letras, é muito famosa. Quem se interessa por esoterismo, misticismo e história vai adorar; lá tem cachoeiras belíssimas e você se sentirá em casa imediatamente!
  Com nossas filhas, eu falo inglês, meu marido, Okhan, fala português; também tocamos música juntos e vendemos muitos artesanatos nas ruas. Somos de culturas diferentes, então você poderá conhecer as duas..

  Aide

  We divide our days into EARTH / WATER / PLANTS / ART / CONSTRUCTION AND GARDENING. Tasks generally include harvesting, cutting, preparing the soil, planting seeds, watering, pruning, weeding, hoeing, and picking fruit. Other tasks may include a bioconstruction project, such as a dry toilet or a bamboo greenhouse. There are also many art projects around the house, as we want to make it colorful! You will learn a lot about permaculture, agroforestry, and bioconstruction. It will be a skills exchange, as we believe everyone has their (hidden, yet undiscovered) talents/goals in life. Let's bring syntropy to this Workaway experience!
  
  Dividimos nossos dias em TERRA / ÁGUA / PLANTA / ARTE / CONSTRUÇÃO E JARDINAGEM. As tarefas geralmente incluem colher, cortar, preparar a terra, plantar sementes, regar, podar, capinar, limpar com enxada e colher frutos. Outras tarefas podem incluir um projeto de bioconstrução, como um banheiro seco ou uma estufa de bambu. Também há muitos projetos artísticos pela casa, pois queremos deixá-la colorida! Você aprenderá muito sobre permacultura, agrofloresta e bioconstrução. Será uma troca de habilidades, pois acreditamos que todos têm seus talentos/objetivos (ocultos, ainda não descobertos) na vida. Vamos trazer sintropia para esta experiência Workaway!

  Hébergement

  We offer the possibility of camping (we have a tent, a mattress, and sheets) in a house that needs renovations. The house has a kitchen, a wood-burning stove, and plans for a dry toilet. There is also a beautiful garden with a charming sea of ​​lilies. One of the volunteer projects is the bioconstruction inside and around the house.
  
  Oferecemos a possibilidade de acampar (temos uma barraca, um colchão e lençóis) em uma casa que precisa de reformas. A casa possui cozinha, fogão a lenha e projetos para um banheiro seco.
