Description
We have availability now for ONE person. For 3 weeks minimum. Chores: We have cleaning, painting, gardening, greeting guests, customer service, small repairs, DIY projects.
Our small Eco Lodge in Panama is near the beach with good hiking on a tropical island 30 min by ferry from Panama city. Family run, employees are local residents so you have the opportunity to learn about rural Panamanian life, the culture, and polish up your Spanish skills. The village is a historic fishing community, with fantastic photo opportunities, hiking, fishing, quiet (no night action at all), safe. Great environment for chill, creative and outdoorsy people.
Volunteer must be self starters, able to work on their own without supervision, honest and responsible, able to talk to strangers to promote our place, enjoy rural, tropical, sunny areas. Safe and quiet area. Really Quiet Area. No other volunteers.
We need cleaning skills, welcome various skills from gardening to greeting guests, social media, and others. We offer a room & 2 meals (you will have to prepare your food; we will provide food (limited to what we can buy on island - special food and treats you will need to provide yourself) supplies, Note: people with dietary restrictions: - groceries are limited to what is available to buy on Taboga.
Room has fan, bathroom. We are on a steep hill with a great ocean view from the balcony and view of Panama Canal entrance with Panama City in the distance.
We speak English and Spanish. We have employees now, one is reception and management and the other is maintenance. We do a lot ourselves. -

They will be helping with people from Latin America and and also be greeting and assisting visitors from around the world so opportunities to meet lots of interesting people and practice Spanish language.

Room with fan and private bathroom. Near the forest on a hill but with an ocean view from the outside. Quiet. Safe. Close to the beach (5 to 10 min walk). Good location for hikers.
