  Description

  Canadian born, Norwegian descent, 80 year old male. I am healthy (3 stints in heart) have a Lady friend, ride an E-bike, active social life, recently been studying: Playback Theatre, NVC, and last three years :Listening, coming out of Carl Rogers, E.T. Gendlin and Allan Rolhfs. I have extensive work with Children in Care of Govt. and 30 years as a professional balloon-clown.
  I live in Canada, B.C., North Vancouver, close to SeaBus and buses. I rent a one-bedroom apartment. My living-bed space is the living room. I rearranged my one bedroom apartment to provide for my son and grandchildren to visit; or for a Workaway. It has a lockable door, Drawers, Closet, Desk, Internet Access and a quiet workspace. Food and Meals: I prepare my meals and leave the sink clean. I have 5 months experience with the same Workaway over his Stays in Vancouver, who I met through my son.
  The Workaway to provide their own food, (space on shelves and fridge). We may take turns sharing a meal occasionally. I offer the private bedroom, shared bath & kitchen in exchange for 15 hours of help a week, 2 days a week off, flexible, advance scheduling . I am seeking a Workaway who can be a resource to help me improve my 1. Mac computer literacy, 2. social media play, 3. Weekly Zoom Group Listening Sessions & projects, 4. Video & iMovies to create 'Educational' YouTube projects. I am an avid student of Allan Rohlfs (Empathetic Listening), Background with E.T. Gendlin (Focusing) and Carl Rogers (Client Centered Counselling).
  I have training & experience as an ESL Conversation Tutor. I imagine the Workaway person most suited to me, seeks a quiet base to do what they will do in Greater Vancouver, BC, a non smoker, non drinker, no drugs, (easily self amused) and who would benefit from practicing Canadian-English with a native speaker, West Coast Media dialect. Probably someone over 30 years of age, who visits with guests away from my home, knows how to use headphones for loud music, and cleans up after themselves. If you want more detailed conditions, email me. We must have time to interview each other on Zoom. Minimum stay one week, and we review, if we want to continue, on day 5 of the week.

  My current Workaway leaves July 16/25. I am a non smoker, non drug user, non drinker who prefers calm and only interested in hosting similar people with similar abnormalities. Also: being tidy and clean, inspire me to be more tidy, clean and eliminate unnecessary clutter.
