Hi everyone,
and welcome home if you are kean. :)
I live in Messanges, on the south coast of Landes. 2km from La Gravière beach (see photo), the house is on one side a former horse farm which has become a gîte (managed by a concierge) and we built (with my ex) our main residence in the old horse boxes. Our construction principle was upcycling and the house is entirely built from second-hand materials. (the parquet floor is a swimming pool terrace for example)
Now alone in the house, with flip and Karma, (see photos) I need help to look after and take care of the animals, maintain the house and the outside garden, do various small finishing jobs, tidying up, etc. 'go to the recycling center, prepare meals that we will have together if we want.
You will be staying in the guest room (at my place) during the "cold" season and in a tent in the garden during the summer season, there are toilets in each space, privacy, an indoor shower and outdoor for after surfing :) wifi.
I work a lot, I need help to better manage my daily life and maintenance work. I am a (very) humane person, respectful of others (I expect the same from you) I am very sociable, I like meeting others, exchanging, discussing, traveling (I am bilingual in English) and wish to learn Spanish.
If you like animals, do small jobs, DIY, love the ocean, cook, then don't hesitate. `I would be delighted to welcome you alone or as a couple.

et bienvenue à la maison si ça vous dit. :)
Je vis à Messanges, sur la côte sud des Landes. à 2km de la plage de la gravière (voir photo), la maison est d'un côté une ancienne ferme équestre qui est devenue un gîte, (gérée par une conciergerie)et nous avons construit (avec mon ex) notre résidence principale dans les anciens boxes à chevaux. Notre principe de construction, c'était l'upcycling et la maison est entièrement construite de matériaux seconde main. (le parquet est une terrasse de piscine par exemple)
Désormais seule dans la maison, avec flip et Karma, (voir photos) j'ai besoin d'aide pour garder et s'occuper des animaux, entretenir la maison et le jardin extérieur, faire différents petits travaux de finitions, de rangements, d'aller retour à la déchetterie, préparer les repas que l'on prendra ensemble si on en a envie.
Vous serez logés dans la chambre d'amis (chez moi) durant la saison "froide" et en tente dans le jardin durant la saison d'été, il y a des toilettes dans chaque espace, de l'intimité, une douche intérieur et extérieur pour l'après surf :) du wifi.
Je travaille beaucoup, j'ai besoin d'aide pour mieux gérer mon quotidien et les travaux d'entretien. je suis quelqu'un d'humaine, respectueuse des autres (j'en attends autant de votre part) Je suis très sociable, j'aime rencontrer les autres, échanger, discuter, voyager (Je suis bilingue anglais) et souhaite apprendre l'espagnol.
Si vous aimez les animaux, faire des petits travaux, bricoler, que vous aimez l'Océan, cuisinier, alors n'hésitez pas à me faire signe. `Je serais ravie de vous accueillir seule ou en couple.

There are a lot of beautiful things you can enjoy around here! World class waves just 2km away from the house. So if you love surfing or want to try it for the first time, this is the place to be!
Besides surfing there are a lot of other activities to do: great bicycle tracks through the forests of Les Landes, Stand-Up-Paddle board, there are lakes everywhere for beautiful walks and hikes, the famous golf course of Moliets is only 5 minutes away from our house and we have the best sunsets :)
Our house is located exaclty in between Moliets and Messages which are both really nice villages to go out in the evening, to catch up with friends, have dinners and drinks and meet new people from all around.
The south-west coast in France is a great place to meet seasonnaires and make new friends for life!
You can rent bike really easy around :)
I speak english and french at home, so you can practice both and I will be happy to teach you french :)

We are looking for someone , couple, Friends, who can help us with help in our house or in any other way a good helping hand. If you enjoy working,l having fun and learning new things at the same time, you are in the right place to help us here :)
You will help us in the garden or in the house, we do painting, sanding, storage, gardenning, there are many different spots every day, it's very versatile and we never get bored :)
