Description
We, Håkan, Lotta and our 9 dogs, are living in the small skiresort Kittelfjäll in south Lappland, Sweden.
We're 59 and 53 years old. The dogs are 9 Siberian huskys, seppala lines.
Håkan workes with the dogs at home, Lotta works at the elderly care home-service and are studying.
The dogs live in one big pack with us, we have our ground fenced in. They sleep inside the house.
We are looking for a workawayer who;
-Can stay for a minimum of two months.
-Is flexible with work-tasks and hours.
-Eats most food. -

We live in the north, next to the mountains. You would be outside with the dogs during the day, in various locations, woods, mountains, icy lakes. It is an ideal place to experience wilderness, its littarly around the corner. But its also a small community and a touristresort with a skiingarea, grocerystore, small hotels and restaurants.

Aide
We are in a new situation, I am therefor updating this text now before winterseason 2026-2027.
Our group of dogs are getting old, and running is not possible in the way we have done it the previous years. There will be training and running but not at the same level as before.
We need help with snowshowelling (somedays it is all we do because it can snow a lot!)
We would like you to help in the daily care of the dogs such as grooming, scooping poop and equipment-fixing.
With Lotta studying we need moore help in and around the house with daily choores as firewood, vaccuming and washing up etc.
You need a driverslicens, you will drive our car with the dogtrailer and drive the snowmobile.
The dogrunning this year will be new for us as well. Somedays that means that you are walking some of them and the rest is running. And also you driving the snowmobile when the dogs are running, so if any of them gets tired, you give them a lift. -

Hébergement
You will live in the house with us, and the dogs, its small but you get the upstairs to yourself thats a bedroom and a sitting area with no doors, its an open area. (Its a tricky set of stairs so the dogs don´t go up there.)
We share toilett and shower.
We eat dinner together.
Our dogs live with us in the house, so at night you can cuddle up on the sofa with as many as you like. -

WINTERSEASON
Kittelfjäll is a small skitresort, you can go skiing, snow-shooing, crosscountryskiing, hiking, icefishing and much more.
AUGUST AND SEPTEMBER
There are lots of trails up the mountains if you want to hike. There are streams and lakes to fish in. Or just camp out.
Monday - Friday there is a bus twice a day to Vilhelmina.
We are 60 km from Norway and 90 km from the nearest town wich is Storuman. -

I spent 6 weeks with Hakan and Lotta and I discovered a lot of amazing things.
Hakan and Lotta are amazing people and live with them was such a huge pleasure. But an other amazing thing is to live with the dogs it’s was incredible and I had a lot of cuddle time !
