Hello Workaway-Community,
my name is Sabine from Germany. If I had to describe myself in 3 words it would be: Traveler, Yogi and Foodie. Those are the things I love most and whenever I can I try to combine them all.
I am a very outdoorsy person, being active and in nature allows me to refuel.
I was working corporate jobs up until 2020 when I decided to take one year off and go travel after a very tough personal time period.
Ever since then I have struggled integrating back into the "so called" real world because I know there is so much more out there than sitting behind a desk 40+ hours a week.
I have first tried out Workaway back in 2020 and had such amazing experiences. I just love the concept of it. Helping in places where help is needed in exchange for seeing new parts of the world and meeting amazing people while doing so.
I have a variety of skills I can bring when staying with you. I am great with animals, have stayed and taken care of dogs (10 huskies in Sweden to be precise), cats and am open to any other types of animals. I am a Yoga teacher and can offer that to you or your guest, I love cooking and baking, I can help with household chores and around the garden. Due to my 10+ years in the Event & Hospitality sector I am also great with organizing and working with guests.
I am hard working, open minded, flexible and can adapt easily and learn fast in new environments.
I am looking forward to more workaway experiences and doing my part in making this world a better place.
