• 

  Description

  We’re a warm, adventurous family of five with three young children (5, 3, and almost 2), living beachfront in Point Roberts, Washington, right on the Canadian border.
  
  We love coastal living, boating, fishing, crabbing, biking, horses, and spending time outdoors. We’re also a travel-loving family, with adventures throughout the year including Maui, skiing, visiting family in Canada, and boating around the Pacific Northwest.
  
  We’ve enjoyed hosting travelers from the USA, Germany, and Spain and love the friendships and different perspectives that come from sharing our family life with others.

  We enjoy sharing meals, recipes, traditions, and everyday family experiences. Our lifestyle offers opportunities to experience coastal living, boating, fishing, horses, and the beautiful Pacific Northwest. Language exchange is also something we would love to share if you’re looking to learn or improve your English. We are learning Spanish!
  
  We also have family on a working cattle ranch in Canada. We love learning about different cultures, languages, cooking, and traditions, and sharing our own experiences along the way.

  We’d love to welcome someone who enjoys being part of an active family, is comfortable around young children, and appreciates a relaxed, welcoming home.
  
  We enjoy sharing everyday activities such as cooking, preparing meals, light gardening, creative projects, and keeping shared spaces tidy. There are also opportunities to join us for family activities, outdoor adventures, and time with our horses.
  
  We’re open to different lengths of stay, ideally 3–6 months or longer, as we find that meaningful connections develop when someone really becomes part of the family.

  Point Roberts is a tiny, peaceful beachfront community with one grocery store, a few small businesses, and limited dining options, especially in winter.
  
  Although part of Washington State, we’re geographically separated from mainland USA by Canada. Vancouver is approximately an hour away, offering incredible restaurants, shopping, nightlife, and outdoor adventures.
  
  International travelers should check entry requirements for both the U.S. and Canada, as reaching mainland Washington by road requires crossing the Canadian border.
