  Description

  Hi. There, We are small family in a private house with now only 2 l ittle dogs also. We are located a few minutes walk from the major bus stop to the Miami Metro train down town and to the Miami International Airport. We have been hosting for many, many , many years , look at our referrals, to know about us from others who have stayed with us. If you look more on the profile I have indicated the things important to us.

  No animal products are permitted in our home. No No No We are vegan and do not permit animal product in our home. It is offensive to us and this is not negotiable. What you do out of our house is your business of course but no No animal products, cooked or not , in our home. We are committed to a vegan plant based way of life.
  
  If you have any questions just ask . Situations do vary from time to time depending on where we are with out home projects. Actually we do not need Animal care, we take care of our dogs totally and they go to a professional groomer. I might need help to provide fresh water outside daily but normally I also do that myself. Help around the house is just the normal daily routine for most people each day. When you arrive we can show you how we do what . Very IMPORTANT there is no parking space available here for any vehicle we have no driveway and parking on the street is forbidden

They will see and learn the reality for themselves about Americans and our many life styles. What all you can learn is * invaluable ! However, Miami has become almost totally Latin with Spanish spoken as the norm.
  
  IMPORTANT. UNTIL WE RECEIVE A COPY OF YOUR AIR TICKET, SHOWING FLIGHTS, DATES, NAME AND A COPY OF YOUR PERSONAL ID (LIKE PASSPORT) , WE will NOT confirm your stay.
  
  * ALSO now verification of being fully vaccinated for covid virus.

  *️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️ We require that our guests maintain themselves in all ways, as well, financially, and respect our home family rules. NO vulgarity, NO smoking, NO alcohol. NO drugs No Animal products consumed in our home - we follow a vegan diet life style.
  ***** NO ANIMAL PRODUCTS ARE PERMITTED IN OUR HOME. NO NO NO NO WE FOLLOW A VEGAN HUMANITARIAN LIFE STYLE NO EXCEPTIONS.
  
  WE do not provide all the food , we do not serve meals, we are not a restaurant here and do not have tasks that would justify meal service . There is a mini fridge for your own use.
  
  *️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️ Showering each night before going to bed is mandatory. After a day of work and play and prespiration , the human body needs a good cleaning . Or your bed will stink. And so will you. We know that this is not done in many cultures but it is mandatory here for us.
  
  *️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️ Important *️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️
  This house is on a SEPTIC TANK plumbing system. If you don't know what that means tell me. This limits how much water can go into the plumbing each day and NO food items much be allowed to go into the sink , strict rule or pipes will clog up. Please.
  
  *️️️️️️️️️️️️️️ Kitchen is closed at 7 p m. *️️️️️️️️️️️️️️ Neither is it ok to be up during the night prowling around the house or trying to cook . Yeah we did have someone trying to do this . Surprise. We have microwave & air fryer , no stove. Only light cooking here.
  
  *️️️️️️️️️️️️️️ Night time here is Quiet Time. *️️️️️️️️️️️️️️ Sleep at night, *️️️️️️️️️️️️️️ Awake and up during the day. We might be able to accept a small dog but not cats. We love cats but our dogs do not.
  
  *️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️We are actually easy-going and will do our best to be great hosts if you will do your best to be a great volunteer. I wish I had a program like this when I was traveling the world - it is wonderful.

  I always prayed that I would wake up some miracle morning to know every language in the world to read, speak and write but that never happened . IMPORTANT. if you do not speak at least basic English or Spanish do not come - it is just too hard for both of us if you can not understand basic English / Spanish. IMPORTANT

  You will have a quiet area , with a comfortable bed. New mattresses & pillows with hygienic covers . No private bathroom, no private entrance. There is a mini fridge just for you and table & chairs by the windows .

  Don't come to our home with the idea to hang around at home and not go out to explore Miami and the area. More on that , we are not an apartment to stay in and stay at home. We want you to get to know our city and area. I f. you plan to be on a computer all day and night there is a library walking distance from our home that you can go to . They have a living room type area to use.

  We expect you to be self sufficient financially and with personal maintenance of hygiene. You will need to supply your own dental cleaning needs, shower and shampoo needs also. .
  
  A travel card, called Easy card, can be purchased here at the train stations that is cheap, giving unlimited transportation on all bus and trains in Miami, plus there is a totally fee Trolly throughout downtown Miami.
  We have had wonderful Work Away - ers and we hope you will be our next one.
