Hello!
We are Zita(23) and Tábita(22) from Hungary. We've known each other since elementary school, and we had hobbies together, such as folk dancing and pottery. Since Highschool graduation our lifes went to different directions, countries, but we like to grab the chances to travel together😊

My name is Zita and I enjoy spending time outdoors, in nature, as it recharges me :) I'm interested in gardening and how nature works, cooking (vegetarian food). Last but not least I like to travel (I try to do it as slowly as possible to take in all the sights, people and life of the region). I speak fluently English and would love to get back to that level in French as well!

I'm Tábita and I have just finished landscape architecture uni, therefore I love plants, gardening, drawing, architecture and lately I have been a lot into self-improvement and self-consciousness. In the last one year, I tried to travel as much I could, I worked in Austria and Iceland. That's the plan for this year aswell, to make new friends, meet with new cultures. And I'm vegetarian just like Zita:)

Que habilidades tienes?

Zita: I am a 23 yo university sudent (geographer, geoinformaticien). I am a calm and patient person who has great communicational skills (I might be shy until I find my place and my role in a new environment). When I have time, I paint/draw or do DIY, which I'm also passionate about. My family lives in the suburbs, with a huge garden. Officially my mom is a gardener, so she taught me a lot, and I also took part in some of my father's projects around the house. It means I have a good sense of helping around a house...just a bit of everything:)

My workaway experience began in France. I was studying in Bordeaux and spent a few days in the Pyrenees in a small B&B with a beautiful garden. I helped around the house with small tasks (collecting nuts, shopping, helping in the kitchen, making a fire, etc.) Last January, I went to Portugal and harvested pine cones on a farm for two weeks, which was a lot of fun and a great experience. Last year, in spring and summertime (I hadn't had time to travel further), I went to different parts of Hungary, once to help to ring birds, another time to pick, dry and prepare wild flowers and herbs for eating/cooking/tea. I always feel that these experiences teach me a lot and bring me great joy.
