Hello all!
I am a third-culture kid who grew up in Hong Kong and spent summers with family in the US and Canada. I also spent four amazing years attending university at a small liberal arts school in Squamish B.C.
I am quite adventurous, and you'll usually find me off on a big hike or swimming if there are any lakes/oceans nearby. I am also a big lover of poetry, literature, and reading
This is my third year volunteering with Workaway - I've already had a range of wonderful experiences and I'm looking forward to more!

I am a fast learner and pretty good at focusing on a task to get it done.
I love working outside in gardens, and have had several work away experiences on farms, landscaping etc...
I have obtained a certTESOL (certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) and I have experience in teaching English as a second language.
I also have experience working with children, and I love spending time with kids!

I had a great time with Sara helping around, she is very independent and also an experienced worker. Whenever I applied any task to her, she could finish it properly like a veteran. Sometimes I feel so sorry that I worked too serious and had too many works to be done by myself. So most of the time I can't join our lovely Asian team. But I did find… read more

I had a wonderful 2 weeks here, and I wish I could have stayed longer.
The work schedule was typically ~2-3 hours in the morning, and ~2 hours in the late afternoon. The work was pretty fun - I did a mix of harvesting kale, weeding, fertilising and planting.
