Due to start an architecture masters in September. Ahead of this I want to get hands on with some crafts and get a sense for a more communal approach to things.

Hello!

I am due to start a masters in September 2026 and so am working backwards seeing what I can fit in and do before then. I will spending some time in Southern England in June/ July, and then trips out to Italy and the Netherlands before dotting around the UK again.

I have some experince in hands on building from small diy projects to working with straw, clay and lime. I work currently in an architects office that has a specialism in conservation and so have some knowledge of materials and building (in theory at least).

I like the idea of walking as much as possible between destinations, likely larger cities. But then staying in the country between bigger cities as well on the route.
