I'm Petra-Susanne, a Czech-German girl who is looking for a Workaway to experience the true culture of Australia and not become just 'another tourist'.
Currently I'm a master student in Marketing Management at HAW Germany and I got the opportunity to spend a semester abroad at ICM Sydney for 4 months (from February 2025). Before returning back to Gemany End of May 2025 I would love to get an insight into a real Aussie life :)
My experience with Workaway:
1) Cleaning & bedding at a hostel (1 month)/ Japan
2) Helping at a bee farm (2 weeks)/Japan - please see feedback
3) Pet-sitting & general household chores (2 weeks)/Japan - please see feedback
My experience abroad overall:
1) Aupair (couple) for 6 months/UK (2015): taking care of three kids (5y. Charlie & 8y. Kesia & 10y. Jemima), doing household chores and looking after two cute dogs
2) Kitchen/counter staff for 6 months/Scotland (2016)
3) Kitchen staff for 4 months/USA (2017)
Originally from a tiny village in the South-East of Czech Republic (growing up bilingually; mum from Slovakia, dad from Germany) I’m an enthusiastic, friendly, loving and happy soul who loves being on the move and who loves being among open-minded people. I love everything that involves travelling, exploring new places, learning new skills and languages, so as “small” things such as a cup of tasty filter coffee, great food, good chats and yoga/meditation sessions :)

I can offer skills in following areas:
*Experience as waitress (currently having a part-time job in a café roastery from 10/2022; back in the day I was Counter staff for 0,5 year in Scotland in 2016)
*Cooking and Baking (cooking and prepping basic dishes as burgers, veggie salads, open-faced sandwiches, soups, etc.; so as baking such as granola, cheesecakes, cookies, etc.)
*I’m very clean and tidy so any general housework (during my bachelor studies I had a part-time job as cleaning staff in private households)
*Online Marketing/Social Media/Copywriting (for 2 years I had a part-time job as a “Marketing Specialist for DACH-Region” in which I was concluding SEO Marketing Analysis, Keyword Analysis for PPC and Copywriting; In May 2023 I attended a Certified One-Month Intensive Course in E-Commerce.
*If interested, posting content on social media (since travelling a lot through out a year, I always like to share it on my socials)
*Working with children (I was an Au-Pair in 2015 in Oxford, UK and was taking care for three children in the age of 5,7 and 11)
*Waitressing experience and front desk in a hostel
*Help in general maintenance (cooking, cleaning, organizing etc), Housekeeping, gardening (weeding, planting, watering, collecting, etc) and help with the animals
If you ask me to do something i will always do in the best way i can :)

In general I'm a friendly, reliable, happy, enthusiastic, positive, and honest person. The opportunities Workaway has are incredible, so I'm excited to see where it will take me.

She is a beautiful, intelligent, kind, hard worker, responsible and attentive woman.
I'm sure there are less than 5% of people like her in the human race.
