I am employed as a fisheries manager for the Tasmanian Government (deal with commercial fishers, fisheries researchers and other government agencies.
I have experience in writing, proofreading, customer service, organising, admin, some website development and maintenance skills (Squarespace platform) .
I grew up in rural New South Wales, Australia and have experience in animal husbandry, milking goats, horses, cattle, sheep etc. I am capable of doing manual labour and office work. I have worked in bars, at festivals and events. I am a good cook.
I was a volunteer Secretary of a Football (soccer) Club for 8 years primarily focussed on communication (website, social media, email etc), administrative tasks, and project management.
I have good organisation skills. I have patience, am adaptable and willing to learn new skills.

I loved this Workaway. Joelle and Jordan were awesome hosts and welcomed me into their lives and culture. Touton and Tea were good company when Joelle and Jordan were away. I was introduced to Newfoundland food (moose is now my favourite meat) and shared some of my own fave dishes. I also loved having a friend to watch (and talk about) hockey… read more

Frances was an excellent Workawayer! She took great care of our home and pets while we were away, ensuring everything was well looked after. Her sourdough and brownies were absolutely amazing! On top of that, she was a great hockey buddy for Jordan. We would happily welcome her back anytime.

What a great time we had we Frances ! One of our only volunteers to cook for us almost everyday! She rapidly became part of the family and although she didn’t need to be entertained she tagged along on our multiple ventures ! We loved having her and would welcome her again !

Michele, Kevin, Jayden and Andrew were my second Workaway experience and it was awesome! I stayed over 3 weeks but it felt like I'd known them forever and had stayed much longer.

I mainly looked after the animals, cooked/baked, a little cleaning, and some odd jobs. Kevin, his mum Josie and I made pies and pickled beetroot.

Staying with Kat was my first Workaway experience and I was not disappointed. I stayed a week and really enjoyed the house vibe. I stayed in the kids room as the attic access is for younger and skinnier people than me!
