I'm Pablo and grew up in Brussels but I'm from a mixed heritage (Brirish & Colombian).

I first used Workaway in 2019 spend 3 months in the South African Cape region to discover projects involved in themes related to sustainability and permaculture. I also helped out at a hostel in Cape Town and I'd love to find a paid position doing reception work.

From September to December 2022 I spent 3 months in Morocco to learn some Moroccan Arabic. I worked for 2 weeks at an animal refuge in Tamraght and after a 3 week stint volounteeing at two hostels in Essaouira but not via WorkAway, at an argan farm in the village of Tafedna, just south of Essaouira, and finally at a languages academy in Berrechid near Casa, helping in English conversation classes.

Geopolitical dev-ops guy, but not a programmer 💭🤌 My writing makes people laugh, I hope so anyway, otherwise it's at me they laugh at.. An immersive experience in a Luo fishing village. A beautiful environment, lots to learn about the local culture, a kind and welcoming host family and the school kids happy to have you teaching them (football in my case). I wish the project lots more success going onwards.
