I enjoy connecting with people, healthy living, and physical activity (whether through work, exercise, or sports). I am taking a break to travel in order to reconnect with people of all different cultures, to learn, work, and live together, enjoying life in pursuit of helping others.

My goal is to learn more from other communities, which has been so valuable to me in my past travels and helped me grow as a person.

I enjoy healthy cooking and wish to spend more time outside in new places. I have recently started trail running and cycling and love any sport.

For my Workaway experiences so far, I have experience working on a tropical fruit farm in Costa Rica, as well as helping at a bed and breakfast in Ireland

Que habilidades tienes?

I am a former college athlete with a background in fitness and health. Through my experience, I have gained a hard work ethic and skills in teamwork. My goal is to be a team player, but I am also not afraid to take initiative on my own or lead a group, if appropriate.

I also have a background in teaching fitness and sports to both children and adults.

Separately, I have experience running my own business that I recently sold, so I have a background in how certain businesses operate efficiently and successfully, but would enjoy learning more from hosts in this regard, as well.

I enjoy helping others and have experience working in a food pantry serving the food insecure members of my community.

I have also worked at a nonprofit farm in my first workaway experience gaining knowledge in caretaking of the land including pruning, trimming, cutting, hauling, etc - with the goal of yeilding healthy fruits and vegtables for the farm in a sustainable manner.

I look forward to working in environment of positivity where people come together for the betterment of the whole.
