My name is Marzia, I'm from Milan but I moved to wonderful Sardinia in 2005. At the beginning, I lived in the countryside in the north of the island and then I head to the south. In both places I've been running a B&B.
I like my job very much because I love to meet people from different countries and I love to speak foreign languages. Fortunately/unfortunately I have long holidays during winter so that the idea of working/meeting people through Workaway sounds perfect to me. In the past years, I used to spend a few months in Perpignan where I attended the university and helped students in Italian conversation at Dante Alighieri school.
I'm an easy going person and I like almost any kind of manual work. I also like gardening, making home made pasta and ravioli, taking care of the house, learn new jobs.
I'm very good in cutting the grass with the débroussailleuse. Years of experience :-)

Marzia was our last highlight in 2024. What a joy and pleasure to work with her! She doesn't shy away from any work and is open to learning new things. She did a great job on tiling the complicated floor in our guest toilet and the walls. The roses look great and will show Marzia's loving hand this spring with their first flowers.

I spent two nice weeks with Delphine and I was lucky enough to meet two of her children as well.
Delphine is a rather reserved but very helpful person and listens to fantastic music - which is very nice when you are doing a lot of terracotta cleaning work ;-)

Superbe expérience avec Marzia.
Le sol en tommettes de terre cuite est rénové, après grand nettoyage, traitement à l'huile dure, ciré et lustré.
Le soleil inonde la maison en se reflétant sur le sol.
"Et la lumière fût".
