Hello everybody,
I am Lisa, 34, from Germany and I work as a doctor back home. I love to travel and broaden my horizon immersing myself in a new culture and getting to know new people as well as learning something new. The concept of workaway unites these interests in a perfect way.
I am open-minded and curious about everything and everyone, probably in another life I should have been an investigative journalist. Enjoying the small moments of beauty in life bring me joy and I pay attention to the details and to everything that was made with a warm heart. I am independent, organised and very responsible.
Other than working as a doctor or in the medical field I have experience in hospitality/catering, working with children/au pair, assisting in education and training others. Also, I have volunteered as a doctor in Nairobi, Kenya, in my home town for a feminist women‘s health centre and for exercise groups for heart patients.
In my free time I love to do yoga and I am also a trained yoga teacher, meditate, dance, read and draw. I am interested in psychology, Interieur Design and literature. I love DIY projects around the house and I am not afraid to get my hands dirty. Furthermore I love languages and am fluent in English and Italian and have some basic knowledge of French and Spanish.
