My name is Jenny Wild from the Lake District in the North west where I spent many years walking, scrambling and climbing the fells there. I,ve had adventures in the Alps, Dolomites and the Andes. As well as mountaineering i love being in, on or near water so I,ve been on several sea kayaking trips, paddled an open canoe down the River Spey in Scotland and done a Competent crew course in the Solent followed by some sailing in the Greek Islands and on a Tall ship from Barcelona in a force 10 gale. I enjoy cycling too and travelled solo round Cuba for 2 months early 2013. In the summer of 2012 i spent four months as a willing worker on organic farms in Canada turning my hand to activities like tree pruning, berry picking, scything, planting, digging and using a chain saw. More recently I worked on a farm in Sicily harvesting walnuts and at an Outdoor Centre in Iceland where I helped with group activities in sailing, climbing and archery. I also helped out on a farm in Norway where I took care of horses, geese, goats, rabbits and a pig.

Que habilidades tienes?

I,m a trained teacher with a Celta certificate. I've taught English as a volunteer in Guatemala and in schools in Bratislava, Cuenca, Ecuador and Rome. I teach yoga too. I,ve been involved in Eco building projects in Ireland(a cob house) and New Zealand (wall building). I enjoy cooking. I can sew, use a hammer, paint and draw.
