Hello,
My name is Jaël, I’m 24 years old, and I’ve developed a strong passion for traveling. For me, travel represents freedom, curiosity, and personal growth.
Over the past few years, I’ve had the chance to explore different parts of the world. I spent a full year traveling through Eastern and Southern Africa, walked 900 kilometers on the Camino de Santiago in Spain, and more recently, I’ve been working in a childcare institution with children aged 6 to 11. These experiences have helped me become more adaptable, patient, and open-minded.
Earlier in my journey, I completed an internship as a nurse in a hospital. It was a meaningful experience where I discovered how much I enjoy helping people, especially in difficult situations. That desire to contribute and support others has stayed with me ever since.
One of my strongest passions is dance. It’s a form of self-expression and therapy for me. I even started a dance education program, which deepened my connection to movement and creativity, even though I eventually chose a different path. I also enjoy playing volleyball, cooking, and sewing. I love creating things with my hands and learning new skills along the way. Music is always a part of my daily life — it gives rhythm to everything I do.
I’ve been a vegetarian since I was seven years old. While I usually stick to it, I’m open to trying something new if it’s part of a cultural exchange and I’ve never experienced it before. I try to live with openness, gratitude, and few regrets. I value authentic human connection, adventure, and stepping outside of my comfort zone.
I see Workaway as the perfect way to combine travel, learning, and meaningful contribution. I’m flexible, reliable, and always ready to help. If you think I could be a good fit for your project or place, I’d be happy to hear from you.
Best regards,
JaëlIntereses

Que habilidades tienes?
I graduated in the functional direction “health and science”, so my knowledge in the medicine department is above average. I have also done an internship as a nurse, so I also have practical experience in this section.
I know how to do chores, like doing the laundry, cleaning or vacuuming.
As a part time job, I regularly babysit, so I have a lot of experience with kids.
I really love to cook (vegetarian) and I enjoy sewing; I already did a lot of clothes by myself and love wearing them. Dance has been my big passion since five years. I experimented with a lot of different dance styles like ballet or jazz. At the moment I dance Hip-Hop. I enjoy having some alone time and feeling my body moving to the music. I think I would be able to teach some dance classes, but I have no experience whatsoever.
I’m into fashion and I enjoy being my friend’s coiffeur. I have already done a lot of hair coloring.
In general, I am very dutiful.Edad

I stayed in the maasai camp for one month. Because I volunteered there for this amount of time, I had the chance to go on the safari in „maasai mara“ for free (except the entrance park fee, 80$).
It was just amazing! I went on the one day safari trip with four other volunteers, and we saw every animal, that I have… read more
