Hi, we are Han and Samantha from the Netherlands and the U.K.

We are long-term travelers, traveling in our self-made camper, which is our home.

Believe it or not we met on a Workaway in Finland in 2025 and ever since then we have been traveling this wonderful world together.

Before we met, we had both been traveling independently for 5 years - Han in his camper and Samantha on her feet, as a backpacker!

We love to travel, camp, and help out wherever we can. We really like to work with people who enjoy life and care about our world and the people in it. Han is a big guy, almost two meters tall, 95kg, sporty (ride skateboard/monowheel and practice martial art), and embraces life in all its aspects. Samantha is definitely smaller, but equally sporty, enjoying hiking most of all.

Han is a jack of all trades and carries a lot of tools in the camper. You name it and he can probably do it, perhaps not always like a real professional but he gets the job done. If he thinks he can't do something he will tell you upfront that he is not the man for this job.

Samantha is a teacher and writer. She specialises in English language teaching, but has taught all school subjects at various times in her teaching career. If you are looking to improve your English or simply have someone to talk to in English, she is a patient teacher with lots of ideas to get you (or your children) talking. She has also written a lot of marketing content for companies around the world, so could help with that too.

Besides helping out, we both like to enjoy life and have fun. For that, we carry stuff with us like a monowheel, VR glasses,games, a scooter and a skateboard.

Driving around in a self-made camper which includes a little workshop with a co2 laser cutter, 3D printer, and a lot of tools. Bit of a handyman. Creative and helpful. Not working anymore so lots of time for traveling.

I stayed two weeks and really enjoyed my stay. There are a lot of projects to work on. I did some painting but was mainly occupied with making a new electricity connection to a separate building. Was a interesting project.

Han stayed at our school for 2 days. He is a really cool and easygoing guy who was a true enrichment to our students. Han has so much to say and show, the kids were super excited about his way of traveling as well as his equipped van. On a impuls I asked Kate if I could come and stay a few days. Never been to a school host. I enjoyed my stay very much. They really take care of you and try to make you feel at home. Also the children are nice and polite. I told them about my travels and showed them my Wamper (workshop/camper). So definitely a place to go.

Han stayed only couple of days in the monastery. It was so unfortunate for him because when he arrived, the weather turned very bad : it was rainy and wet almost all day. I am so sorry he did not see how beautiful is the place where the monastery is, when the weather is better.
