I am a mother of two wonderful daughters, aged 10 and 14 years - and a wife to a wonderful woman. In my free ;) time, I work as a psychologist in a hospice, in education, and with clients.

I am passionate about human beings, and about being awake and mindful. I love to learn and experience the world that we all share. And I love to share my life with my wife and my children. We are people and animal friendly, look for adventures of all kinds, and love to laugh.

We live in Northern Germany and want to experience the richness of life with our children. This year, I have the precious opportunity to spend one or two weeks with our older daughter, while my wife is at home with the younger one. We want to spend time in nature and with families that live in close contact with nature.

We are looking for workaway opportunities that are family friendly. My daughter is interested in all areas of life and work, especially in agriculture and animals.

Unfortunately, we do not have much expertise to offer, but rather a lot of enthusiasm and openmindedness to learn new skills.

Cooking (basic skills) and baking (medium). Basic gardening skills, but eager to learn. I am a good listener and organizer. I love to work with people, big and small alike. And I love to teach yoga, body work, and meditation.

Meine Tochter und ich konnten eine wunderbare Woche bei Anja, Weriand und ihren beiden Töchtern verbringen. Es war eine so interessante, lehrreiche und angenehme Zeit, dass sie wie im Flug verging.

Anja und Weriand besitzen eine unerschöpfliche Fülle an Wissen über ökologischen Landbau, Viehhaltung und Milchwirtschaft. Ihr kleiner Bauernhof ist… read more wie aus dem Lehrbuch: eine geschlossene Nahrungskette, die fast nichts von außen braucht und fast keinen Abfall erzeugt. Es war eine Freude, bei allen Tätigkeiten mithelfen zu können und alles erklärt zu bekommen. Wir versorgten die Tiere, arbeiteten auf den Gemüsebeeten, halfen in Küche und Haushalt und hatten viel Spaß mit den wunderbaren Kindern von Anja und Weriand. Die Schule, die jede Woche mit verschiedenen Klassen auf den Hof kommen kann, ist wirklich zu beneiden.

Anja und Weriand sind feine Menschen, die ihren Gästen viel Freiheit und Gestaltungsspielraum lassen. Wir fühlten uns zum Arbeiten eingeladen und durften immer auswählen, was und wieviel wir gerne machen möchten. Das Miteinander war entspannt und von Herzen freundlich und offen. Wir hatten das Gefühl, im Laufe einer Woche Freunde kennenzulernen.

Und dürfen wir kurz schwärmen? Die Unterkunft im Bauwagen mit Blick auf die gegenüber liegende, schneebedeckte Bergkette ist einfach nur wunderbar. Danke für diesen unglaublich schönen Platz! Und danke auch für das wunderbare Essen: jeden Tag frisches Brot, selbstgemachte Butter, eigenen Honig,...

Vielen Dank, liebe Anja, lieber Weriand, für diese wunderbare Woche und für Eure großzügige Freundschaft!

My daughter and I were able to spend a wonderful week with Anja, Weriand and their two daughters. It was such an interesting, educational and pleasant time that it flew by.

Anja and Weriand have an inexhaustible wealth of knowledge about organic farming, livestock farming and dairy farming. Their small farm is like something out of a textbook: a closed food chain that needs almost nothing from the outside and produces practically no waste. It was a pleasure to be able to help with all the activities and have everything explained to us. We looked after the animals, worked in the vegetable patches, helped in the kitchen and household and had a lot of fun with Anja and Weriand's wonderful children. The school, which can come to the farm every week with different classes, is really to be envied.

Anja and Weriand are two very fine people who give their guests a lot of freedom and creative scope. We felt invited to work and could always choose what and how much we would like to do. The communication was relaxed and friendly and open. We had the feeling that we were getting to know new friends over the course of a week.

And can we rave for a moment? The accommodation in the trailer with a view of a snow-covered mountain range is just wonderful. Thank you for this incredibly beautiful place! And thank you also for the wonderful food: fresh bread every day, homemade butter, our own honey,...

Gerlinde and girls spent 4 days with us but these days were full of happiness and joy! Olivia was so happy to get 2 new friends and she was very sad when you left.
