Hi and nice to meet you! I'm Genya, a wannabe world traveler and an ultimate curious soul. I've recently resigned from my prestigious job in Amsterdam with the goal of embarking on a year-long journey across continents.

My aim is to recharge my batteries and explore the wonders of meeting new people, contributing to local communities, and honing new skills.

I'm based in the Netherlands, where I've built a successful digital marketing career, progressing from startups and agencies to a global fintech company. In April 2024, I felt the urge to step out of my comfort zone and leave my job to travel the world.

I plan to visit approximately 20 countries over the next 12 months. It would be fantastic to discover opportunities to stay with local families and contribute through gaining hands-on skills and experiences.

A bit about me:
- I'm enthusiastic, easy-going, fast-paced, and proactive.
- I'm handy around the house and enjoy working with tools.
- I'm fluent in English, a native Russian speaker, and have some proficiency in Dutch and Portuguese.
- My professional expertise lies in digital marketing (social media, website creation, online ads, and video production)

I'm eager to connect with local small businesses and lend a hand.

I’m a big fan of sport activities, I love yoga, running, cycling, hiking, or any team sport - sign me up! I’d love to practice horse riding and surfing.

I also play the piano, not professionally but enjoying it a lot.

My professional life somewhat overtook my hobbies so I’m eager to rediscover my passions!
