Hi there!
I'm a 28 year old Chef from Germany, currently on a WHV in Australia.
Beyond exploring this absolutely stunning country, I hope to connect with people, share skills, learn and listen to stories. I thoroughly enjoy giving my time and energy in return for a comfortable place to stay, delicious shared food, good conversations and new experiences.

What I Can Offer:
As a professional chef (in Germany I was running a small café kitchen), I’m happy to contribute with cooking, kitchen work, food prep, menu ideas, or even small workshops, especially around vegetarian and vegan cuisine. Sustainability is also very important to me, and I enjoy working with fresh, seasonal ingredients.

Besides that, I’m really into gardening. I’ve studied Sustainable Agriculture (not finished, but still passionate!) and I used to grow my own vegetables in a small garden plot in the city.

I volunteered at an animal sanctuary for 1.5 months and learned a lot about animal behaviour and care. I'd say, I’m now very comfortable around animals.

I don’t have a lot experience with childcare yet but I'm curious and open to learning.

Community living is something I deeply wish to experience. I long for a space where people support and inspire each other.

More About Me:
When I’m not in the kitchen or garden, I love reading novels (I travel light with my e-book reader), writing, practicing yoga or doing strength training.
I meditate daily and consider myself kind of spiritual. I’m on a journey of self-discovery and growth, and I see traveling as a beautiful part of that.

I speak fluent German and English, and

As a Person:
I’d describe myself as calm, introverted, curious and reliable. I enjoy solitude, but I also deeply value kind, honest and grounded connections. Solo traveling for such a long period of time can get lonely and I expect to face many moments that will challenge me. That’s when I truly appreciate being surrounded by kind and supportive people who are open to sharing their knowledge and stories.

I'm a dreamer at heart. My long-term dream is to someday have my own little café with a garden next to it, where I can grow food and create something with it. ( Maybe even becoming self sufficient?) I want a safe and warm space for people to come together.
