Hi fellow Workawayers and possible future hosts! I‘m Celina, 20 years old and currently on break between my studies and my traineeship, beginning in september. I love exploring new places as well as meeting new people and forming new friendships, which is why I want to use this freetime to see a little more of the world!

After I finished my A-levels in 2024, I unfortunately didn't get to take the gap year I've always wanted and started my studies in management and english literature. I've been studying for the past year while also working some side jobs at a bakery and a strawberry field. I realized that maybe that wasn't the right path for me, which is why I applied for a traineeship and earlier this month got the confirmation that I'll be starting in september. While leaving my studies unfinished was a bit of a hard step for me to take, I'm more than happy that I now kind of get the opportunity to catch up on what I feel like I've been missing this whole time: spending some time abroad, learning about new cultures and perspectives.

Now that you know how I got here, a little bit more about me: I'm a really open minded person and you'll rarely find me saying no to an activity or a trip that might include fun. Therefore I'm also all in for trying new things. One thing that pretty much sums me up as a person is capturing things as I keep a journal and a memory box where I keep basically everything that's ever been given to me. I also carry around a digital camera all the time and document everything. Music is something that is very important to me. I love listening to it and I've been teaching myself playing the guitar for the past 2 or 3 years. I've also recently started taking dance classes which has been really fun. In general I'd say I'm a quite uncomplicated person to be around and always down for an adventure!

Since I grew up having a dog, I know how to take care of them and know their general needs. I also have some experience in working with children because I used to tutor them in school. I‘m always open to learn new things though!
