Heey~ my name is Camila. I'm a Brazilian passionate about nature and science. I've lived in Japan for the past few years, where I'm a doctoral student.

One of the joys in life is making new friends and connecting with people from different backgrounds. Sharing culture and experiences opens up a world of possibilities and broadens our understanding of the world. The excitement of meeting someone new and discovering the unique stories and perspectives they bring is truly enriching.

Trying new cuisines allows me to embark on a gastronomic adventure. Each dish tells a story, reflecting the traditions and heritage of the people who created it. It's a delightful journey of exploration and appreciation. Food is a gateway to culture and discovery!

Nature holds a special place in my heart. Whether it's the awe-inspiring sight of a waterfall cascading down, the refreshing experience of hiking through breathtaking landscapes, or simply being surrounded by trees, nature has a way of rejuvenating my spirit.

Working in the field and riding my bicycle are wonderful ways to engage with the world around me. There's something fulfilling about being hands-on, whether it's nurturing plants, tending to the land, or simply feeling the wind in your hair as you cycle through picturesque landscapes. It's my way of staying connected to the earth and finding joy in the simple pleasures of life.

Perhaps, one of the most essential aspects of my personality is my commitment to sustainable practices. Being helpful and engaging in activities that promote a greener future makes a positive difference and inspires others to do the same.

I had experience as an English teacher at university. Through teaching, I developed strong communication skills and the ability to share knowledge effectively. In addition, my professional experience has given me extensive computational understanding, ranging from simple software to coding. Research challenges have also taught me valuable organization skills, particularly when it comes to managing digital files and creating an efficient work environment.

I have always been passionate about environmental sciences and enjoy going to the field, regardless of insects or dirt. I love hands-on experiences and a deep connection to nature. Growing up in Brazil, I helped with sustainable DIY projects on my family's small farm, as well as cultivated the land and grew food for ourselves and friends.

In summary, my skills include teaching, computational knowledge, organization, and expertise in environmental sciences and sustainable practices.

I went through a month-long journey through Japan, traveling exclusively by bicycle. I faced challenging weather conditions and embraced the freedom of camping wherever I found suitable. With my bicycle and camping tent, I am excited about the prospect of reaching the host destination by bike (if it is in Japan -.-).

Considering my commitment to online classes, I kindly request a degree of flexibility with the working schedule. I assure you that I will make all necessary arrangements well in advance to ensure a comfortable agreement for both myself and the host.
