Hi !

I’m Brieuc, if my French name is too complicated to pronounce you can call me Alexis, it’s my secondary name and way easier to say ;)

I’m 25yo, come from Paris and graduated as an engineer last year. I’ve worked for a year in Supply Chain (logistics, transport, distribution …) and Sustainability. I loved working on that topic. As an environmentalist and engineer, I think it’s a great challenge for the future.

But I also wanted to travel before starting to work more “seriously”, to discover the world, meet people with crazy stories and learn about myself.

I've been traveling in Europe, Turkey, Georgia, Armenia and Tunisia for 5 months now. My project is to travel all around the Mediterranean Sea and without taking the plane (train, bus, ferries …) , not even once !
I wanted to experience the “slow travel” and prove that, like many other travelers, it’s possible to travel for a long time and far away without using the plane.

My next step is Morocco. Solo traveling is a great experience, but “my loneliness is killing me” sometimes (thank you Britney) and I feel the need to be useful again. Visiting and discovering new places is great and I learn lot, but I want to take part of a project, to be in a team with a common goal and help as I much as I can do !
I already did three workaways during my time in Turkey, all of them in farms, mostly doing gardening, helping with animals ...

As I said, I’m very interested in sustainability and environmental questions. That’s why I would to participate to an environmental/nature-related project !

I think that I’m easy going and that I always want to do things right. I aways invest a lot in the tasks and projects I take part in.

I think that’s it, can’t wait to find a project and start this new step of my journey :)

And I can read three alphabets : Latin, Cyrillic, Greek … not that useful but still a skill !

I walk/hike, like spending time in nature or helping for gardening.

Technical boring stuff like a bit of programming, and using excel a lot.
I gave a lot of maths and physics lessons to kids.

I used to play piano and drums. I’m not as good as before at piano but I still can play.

I’ve already worked two years in total, in supply chain mostly.

I love board games and play games in general !

I started bouldering last year, and I felt love with this sport. Did not have a chance to practice since the beginning of my trip but can’t wait to do it again.

That’s really all this time ;)
