Hello Everyone! We are Zsuzska & Jay, a travelling couple from Hungary & Australia, We love the Workaway ethos & experience, and really enjoy sharing in our hosts projects and daily routine. I am a Yoga Teacher and Qualified Carpenter and love cooking healthy, straight from the garden (when possible) and learning new dishes from the places we visit. Jay is a former teacher and event manager, who loves music, graphic design and the great outdoors.
We are a conscious, minimalist couple, who embrace and add our positive energy to every new environment.
Hiking, biking, dancing, yoga, meditation and enjoying nature always fills our spare time.
We're non-smokers/drinkers and always try to eat fresh, unprocessed food.
The world is ours to explore together, and we hope to have more amazing adventures and share some with YOU!

Que habilidades tienes?
I have worked in hospitality, landscaping (garden design), animator with youth exchange programs across Europe. I am a qualified Carpenter and Yoga Teacher. I love to getting my creative juices bubbling in the kitchen, and getting my hands dirty in the vegetable garden.
Jay grew up on a farm, so most of these duties are second nature. He's handy with all the DIY jobs, but also knows his way around a computer and loves graphic design/marketing. I play a little guitar and we both enjoy learning and singing new songs or relaxing with a good book.

We spent a lovely fortnight in the foothills of the Pyrenees with Georgina & Stephane. Stephane lead the way with most of the daily tasks. The main projects during our stay were clearing a parcel of woods on the property and general garden maintenance. Collecting and placing rocks and plant cuttings for creating a herb garden spiral.

We were so lucky to spend the UK lockdown period at Icknor with Gwen, Chubby Hunter (the cat) and other likeable folk!
The accommodation was sensational. We lived independently, and worked our way through a large wish-list of improvements, gardening and construction tasks.

Jay and Zsuzska were amazing help and built beautiful structures - a wildwood fence and portal, and three huts for the garden as well as countless other garden and building jobs around the property. Our 2 week stay with Balazs, Ezster and Anna was wonderful. The work was mostly outdoors in the Andalucían sunshine. We started on building a new Mediterranean garden to surround the outdoor pool.
