I’m a happy retired teacher living in the Costa Brava (Catalonia/Spain). I started last year with Workaway and my two experiences so far were excellent.

I’m 62 years old, and a very quiet person. I enjoy the silence, the literature, the long walks, the cinema, the Mediterranean cuisine, traveling, etc.

I’ve been working in human resource management, mainly as a school director, for more than thirty years. My main goal was always to make comfortable everyone; trying to focus in everyone skills to create a good work atmosphere in order to promote that all the people could give the best of themselves. Promote creativity in all the subjects has been always like a fundamental pillar in all the projects that I have ruled, and I have always take in account the very importance of the education in the early childhood

I have travelled as a tourist for many countries in Africa, Asia and Middle East. If I should to choose one of them, I probably choose the Silk Road route I did in the 90’s. But I have had great experiences in so different places like Athens, Edinburg, Sanaa, Damascus, Algiers, Jerusalem, Isfahan…

Now, I’m looking for new experiences, sharing my time with people and places. I’m interested in knowing cities and people, spending some time abroad with no rush.

I want to enjoy the experience of living for a while in different places, searching for wisdom in the beauty of the nature, the Arts and the conversation.

I’m a moviegoer. I love Federico Fellini, Bertolucci, Almodovar, Zhang Yimou, Terrence Malick, David Lean…

I read every day. I love classic novels from authors like Stendhal, Bronte or Thomas Mann, and my absolutely number one: Marcel Proust.

I enjoy Mahler and Wagner music. But I also enjoy pop and rock music, flamenco, etc.

I live in the Costa Brava, in Tossa de Mar, where I can enjoy long walks on the seaside arriving to beautiful coves where you can swim almost the whole year.
