I’m doing some preliminary planning for my next big adventure with possible departure autumn 2023 and hope to sustain travel for at least a year.

Hello!
June 2023 update. It’s been a time but have recovered financially from the past few years and am ready to get back out there. Hoping to sustain travel and experiences for minimum one year total so ultimately am game for longer placements.
My forte is tourism, F&B, customer care and come with a few decades experience. I do and always will love the hospitality sector.
2018 Quick update.... Now on my 3rd year of this travel adventure with 8 very successful workaway's in Uganda, Ireland, Iceland, Ecudaor, Peru, Morocco, Vietnam and New Zealand along with some backpacking through Europe and Central and South America, Eastern Africa and SE Asia. I plan on heading back to Asia in the New Year.
While I didn't plan on this, most of my Workaway positions have involved managing guesthouses for hosts while they take their own holidays and the experiences have been great!
I am a 49 year old single mom to an aspiring ballerina who has left the nest for her own pursuits.
I have worked in the hospitality industry for many years including serving, bartending, managing and owning a small pub, as well as marketing for a small hotel.
I love the hospitality industry and I understand and appreciate quality service! I have always enjoyed participating in the creative side of the business: new concepts, promotions, themes etc. If I can use all this experience to help your business then please take advantage!
Photography is my passion for a hobby. I have photographed dancers, headshots, babies, families, business photos and even a few weddings. I would happily share any great captures I get with you the host.
I have some skills with gardening as I have owned my own home for 10+ years as well I grew up on a farm where we grew most of our own produce.
I am currently seeking longer postings of 3 to 6 months but I am flexible with this.

I have covered management duties for owners at 7 of my workaway placements in last 2 years, all with great results. I am not limited to this but it is an option for the small business owner.

Montanita is a fun surf town with lots to do for the under 30's!
Be flexible with your time and chores and Joos will treat you great. Dorms are clean and airy, lots of hammocks to enjoy your downtime and they are flexible in working with your skill set.

She took care of our guesthouse for some time in October this year; welcoming guests, cooking, cleaning rooms and handling daily responsibilities. Audrey managed all those tasks with great bravor.
