Motivations and Happiness:
We, Elif and Cumali Alperen, are adventurous individuals who find joy in exploring new places, cultures, and experiences. We thrive on stepping out of our comfort zones and embracing the unknown. The thrill of pushing our limits and trying new things brings us immense happiness. We also appreciate moments of contemplation and enjoy engaging in philosophical discussions. As artists at heart, we draw inspiration from various creative outlets. Additionally, our shared interest in technology has led us to explore emerging fields like blockchain.

Travel Goals and Hometown:
Our desire to travel to different countries stems from our curiosity about diverse cultures and the desire to broaden our perspectives. The country (or specific region) we are planning to visit has captivated us with its unique history, vibrant traditions, and breathtaking landscapes. Exploring the local customs, connecting with the community, and immersing ourselves in the local way of life are all part of our travel goals. As for our hometowns, Elif hails from Istanbul, a dynamic city that has shaped her into a person who values multiculturalism and heritage. Cumali Alperen, on the other hand, grew up in Adana, a city known for its rich heritage, warm community, and vibrant culinary scene.

Causes and Vision:
We strongly believe in sustainable living, environmental conservation, and community empowerment. We are dedicated to supporting projects and initiatives that strive for a greener and more equitable future. Our goal is to contribute our skills and knowledge to projects that make a positive impact on the environment and society. Through Workaway, we hope to connect with like-minded individuals and organizations working towards these shared objectives.

Hobbies and Pastimes:
In our free time, we enjoy engaging in various hobbies. Elif has a passion for fashion and enjoys creating unique designs through her own brand, "Hot Mess." She finds joy in knitting and exploring different textile techniques. Cumali Alperen, on the other hand, is enthusiastic about technology and has a keen interest in blockchain. Together, we enjoy outdoor activities such as hiking, cycling, and photography. We find solace in nature and appreciate the beauty that surrounds us.

Workaway Experiences:
As a newly registered couple on Workaway, we are thrilled to embark on our first volunteering adventure. While we don't have prior Workaway experiences to share, we are eager to connect with hosts, fellow Workawayers, and contribute our skills and energy to meaningful projects. We bring a positive attitude, a willingness to learn, and a dedication to making a positive impact through our Workaway experiences. Let's create unforgettable memories together!

Absolutely! We are both interested in both learning and teaching languages. We believe that language is a powerful tool for cultural exchange and connection with people from different backgrounds. Elif has a particular interest in language learning and enjoys exploring new languages to expand her linguistic abilities. She is also eager to share her knowledge of Turkish and English with others who are interested in learning. Cumali Alperen, on the other hand, has a passion for language teaching. As a couple, Elif and Cumali Alperen bring a diverse set of skills to the table. Here are some of the skills we possess:

Language Skills: We are both fluent in Turkish, our native language, and English. Elif is particularly skilled in fashion design and has a good command of pattern making and garment construction terminology.

Industrial Engineering: Cumali Alperen is currently studying Industrial Engineering at Istanbul Technical University. He has acquired knowledge and skills in areas such as process optimization, data analysis, project management, and logistics.

Blockchain Technology: Cumali Alperen has a keen interest in blockchain technology and is actively involved in the blockchain community. He has experience working with decentralized autonomous organizations (DAOs) and has participated in various blockchain-related projects.

Environmental and Organic Farming: Both of us have volunteered in projects related to environmental and organic farming. Elif has hands-on experience in sustainable agriculture practices, while Cumali Alperen has assisted with project coordination and implementation.

Knitting and Fashion Design: Elif is skilled in knitting and has her own brand, Hot Mess. She has honed her knitting techniques and enjoys creating unique designs and wearable art pieces.
