Hello Workaway community. I'm a citizen of Canada and the European Union. Travelling, helping people, and sharing experiences is something I enjoy. I have a thirst for knowledge of cultures and opinions. I’m open-minded and can be described as a person with many hobbies. Furthermore, I can communicate in both the English and Polish languages. I find myself at many language programs around the world in addition to many hospitality opportunities. Great food and cooking is something I'm passionate about too. I've found myself working in many kitchens around the world.

Working with Wojtek was more than a pleasure. He spent with us longer than half a year. He taught English mostly to individual students. He was always well prepared for lessons, engaged, always punctual. The students loved the lessons with him. I got the impression that Wojtek is a very mature person. I taught from a building which was literally a stone's throw away from my apartment, which was provided. Really great people at this hostel. The work was light in nature. Flipping rooms after guests and a bit of general housekeeping was the name of the game. I had many fun adventures like going for gleanings and helping out with cooking at the hostel. Playing cards on the rooftop patio was standard. I played a lot of chess at the hostel, as well as a bit of carrom. There's a fair bit of things to do in the area, primarily focused around the beach. Whether it's renting a surfboard, which I never did, visiting the many beaches, purchasing seafood from the fish stands, or joining organized events like a billiards or chess night, finding a… read more

Wojciech volunteered at our hostel for 3 weeks in January and it was a pleasure to host him. He made himself familiar with the systems and processes quite quickly and executed the tasks assigned to him with utmost accuracy. If you like horses, this is the place for you. They're definitely a hungry bunch. If you're late with their scheduled meals, or you feed them out of order, they won’t hesitate to display their displeasure. I've hosted many volunteers, but Wojciech is the best worker I've ever had. He helped us every where. He knows how to make everyone happy and has superb communication skills. I hosted him almost a month. We never felt a single moment of boredom. I wish to host him again, if he comes back to India.

This was a fantastic experience. The team treated me like family here. Hungriness was never an issue. My responsibilities surrounded the rooftop terrace. This involved sweeping the terrace and wiping the tables, as well as helping with preparing meals for staff and guests. Washing dishes and keeping the kitchen clean was my duty as well.… read more

From the beginning the communication was reliable. I took away a lot from their kitchen, not to mention the high housekeeping and maintenance standards.
