Hello everyone,

My name is Lorenzo and I'm from Rome, Italy.

For as long as I can remember, I've always felt the need to explore places different from my own, meet people from different backgrounds, and experience new ways of living. Over the years I've lived in Italy, Ireland, England, and Spain, and every experience has helped me grow and see the world with a more open perspective.

Recently, after two and a half years working in film production, I decided to leave my job and give myself the opportunity to explore a different chapter of life. I'm in a moment where I'm trying to stay open to new experiences, trust the process a little more, and discover what life might have in store for me. Letting go of things that no longer felt right has also brought me closer to a side of myself that I had never fully explored before.

I've been thinking about doing a Workaway experience for a long time, but I never really gave myself the time and space to do it. Now feels like the right moment.

I'm a calm, friendly, and curious person. I enjoy meeting new people, sharing stories and experiences, but I also appreciate quiet moments, nature, and simplicity. One of my goals this year is to learn how to be more present and to slow down when needed.

My background is in the creative field, and I'd be happy to contribute to projects involving photography, visual content, or other creative activities. I also love cooking and sharing meals with others.

At the same time, I'm excited to learn new practical skills and get involved in more hands-on activities, especially those connected to nature, the land, and simpler ways of living. I'm a quick learner, I enjoy working with my hands, and I'm always willing to help wherever needed.

I'm also a huge animal lover. I've had dogs for most of my life and I genuinely enjoy being around animals and taking care of them.

Some of my biggest interests are photography, cinema, music, cooking, and exploring nature. I'm also curious about holistic practices, yoga, and meditation. I don't have much experience in these areas yet, but I feel naturally drawn to them and would love to learn more.

I speak Italian, English, and Spanish. My English and Spanish are good enough for me to ask you about your whole life story and then tell you mine right after :)

I hope this experience will be the beginning of a new cycle of discovery, learning, and personal growth. I'm excited to embrace it wholeheartedly and see where it leads.

My professional background is in photography and, more recently, in film production, where I worked for the past two and a half years. This experience taught me how to adapt quickly, work with different kinds of people, stay organised, and find solutions when challenges arise.

At this stage of my life, I'm looking for experiences that are different from my professional routine. One of the reasons I'm doing Workaway is to slow down, learn practical skills, spend more time in nature, and experience a simpler and more grounded way of living.

That said, I come from a creative background and I'm always happy to contribute to artistic projects or other creative activities whenever those skills can be useful.

I enjoy cooking and would be glad to help prepare meals, share recipes from my culture, and learn from others as well. I'm also a huge animal lover and have had dogs for most of my life, so I'm always comfortable around animals and happy to help take care of them.

While I don't have extensive experience in gardening, farming, or other outdoor work, I'm practical, curious, and eager to learn. I enjoy working with my hands and I'm not afraid of getting dirty if it means learning new skills and contributing to a project.

More than anything, I bring a positive attitude, adaptability, and a genuine willingness to help wherever I can.
