Hey everyone!
We’re Patrick and Tini, an adventurous couple from southern Germany currently fulfilling our dream of backpacking the world. We’re on the road for about a year exploring new countries, immersing ourselves in different cultures and meeting amazing people along the way. Our journey started in Vietam in October. Then we went to New Zealand for 4,5 months. Currently we are traveling around Central America since April.
With lots of curiosity and a love for learning new things, we’re ready to take on whatever comes our way! ☺️ We are both interested in learning new lifestyles and different cultures!
A little about us:
Patrick:
I’m an engineer who’s taking a year off work to see the world. I love DIY projects and working with my hands. One of my favorite projects was building a wooden barrel sauna with my dad for our garden. Seeing the finished result of something I created is incredibly rewarding ☺️
Tini:
I’m passionate about working with children. I completed a Bachelor’s degree in Education and a Master’s degree in Social Work, focusing on people with disabilities. I worked in a kindergarten during my studies. I love spending time with kids and can help with babysitting, educational activities, or just keeping them entertained! 😜
What we share:
We’re both passionate about spending time in nature: Hiking, skiing and climbing are some of the activities we love doing together. Cooking is another big shared passion, and we enjoy creating meals (and of course eating them!😅). Whether we’re in the kitchen or outdoors, we value working together and bringing positive energy to whatever we do. Also spending time with our family and loved ones is really important to us. We both love being around people especially kids! 🥰
We also have plenty of life experience from living independently for many years and are always open to learning new things!
