I'm a 23 year old student and I just finished my bachelor in Psychology this year. I want to learn something about the world I life in, about myself and other cultures. The reason I love traveling is because I want to see how other people around the world life their daily life's, and since I don't see that in hostels I would love to go off the tourist path and indulge in the local culture!
I want to help to make the world a better place. So I would like to work in refugee camps, for human rights, take care for children, rescue animals or get my hands dirty in a farming project. I don't hesitate to do physical work - actually I prefer it 😉
At home in Zürich, where I come from, I love to ride my bike, do sports, meet friends, create little movies, read and also hang out at home and just watch TV once in a while. For adventures in the nature like hiking, climbing, horseback riding, camping, snowboarding and a lot more - I'm always ready.
I speak English, a little French and a little Spanish. My native language is German.

Que habilidades tienes?

I can do housework, teach children to play basketball or maybe even a language (English, German). I'm an open-minded person and do not hesitate to talk to people.
I went to a grammar school with focus on economics, so I have a little overview on bookkeeping, marketing and the structures of a company or organization. Unfortunately I don't have much work experience. I made a two week internship at a advertising company and helped my dad a little bit, when he extended our garage and built a little house in our garden. Working outside and be physical active is no problem for me.

I have also a little experience in childcare. My two little cousins were not always easy to deal with. In a understandable way but also with a convinced voice I managed to have a good relationship to them but also with them respecting and liking me as a cool older cousin. Furthermore I teached basketball to a group of 9 to 11 years old kids for about one year. It was really much fun to see the development of the children throughout the year and be a proud fan when they won a game. I would also like to make experiences with teenagers.

Because I'm a vegan/vegetarian (I make exceptions) my parents didn't cook for me and I had to take care of my food alone. So I started cooking and experimenting in the kitchen. I really enjoy cooking (and of course eating) and would really look forward to work in a kitchen sometime.

Since I got a camera 5 years ago I am really into photography and film-making. I like to cut videos and make little vacation films of the adventures I experienced. I would also enjoy to make a little advertising short movie for your organization or project or take nice pictures for your workaway feed ;)
