I'm probably a little bit older than most workaway-ers, which must come with some advantages, and I'm super-healthy, fit and very energetic, so hopefully no disadvantages.
Have visited somewhere around 50 countries and worked or volunteered in about half of them. Originally from the UK, have spent most of the last decade in Africa and Southern Asia.
Looking for somewhere where I can get stuck in, be useful, enjoy nature, and enjoy other good people.

The work is fine, but as with most volunteering experiences what makes it is the people. Ian, Kate and Andrew will make you feel at home and treat you like one of the family from the minute you arrive, as will all the lovely dogs and cats 😊 I only stayed a couple of weeks but enjoyed the place, the work and above all the people. We have only amazing things to say about Tim, honestly he was one of the best if not the best volunteer we had here.
He was really nice person with a great personality just great, with a sense of maturity and empathy that makes it easy and a pleasure having him as volunteer.

Had a superb time here. Fell in Love with each and every one of the dogs, cats and humans - it's just a superb place. We miss Tim! I really considered giving him useless feedback so no one else would take him and he would have to come back to us. But not only is he a great workaway he has become a great friend, so that would be unfair and a lie! He surprised us honestly, and really was one of the best workers we have ever had. Fell completely in Love with this place; it's a wonderful project in a beautiful part of the world, where you will learn lots about animals, lots about living consciously, and even more about yourself. I look forward to returning soon (as so so many of their volunteers do) - just a great life experience all-round :)
