We are Tėja and Martin, a young couple currently based on Portugal. We're looking forward to join exciting projects, places where we can learn and use our skills in a creative way :)

The name I was given is Tėja, I’m from Lithuania, 23 years old.

I’ve been living in the city my whole life and it drained me fully… For years I’ve felt this longing for travelling, nature and connecting to people I wouldn't otherwise and I’ve finally dared to leave everything behind. Been travelling for a year already and it was the best decision I ever made.

My friends describe me as thoughtful, witty, diligent, tender and caring. I’m pretty shy at first. It takes time for me to get relaxed and comfortable to be as outgoing as I can be. I view life through sensitivity and curiosity the most and I use dance and music as tools to better understand and connect with myself. I’m very excited to explore this yearning for nature, relationship with animals and meet many interesting people from all over the world.

Hello! My name is Martín, I am 30 years old and I was born in Buenos Aires.

Between 2013 and the start of the pandemic I lived a semi nomadic life, travelling across 9 different countries in South America. Visiting communities, doing volunteer job and playing music (busking) in the street. I did many different things, I've worked in hostels and also in farms helping with the sowing and harvesting... I even worked in a brick factory! I have always enjoyed being versatile and able to adapt to different situations.

I also did courses on gerontology and learn to assist elder people. Ever since I was a kid I had a strong connection with the elderly. I have worked as a carer in Argentina, Spain and Portugal... It’s a tough job, but it is really gratifying.

I play many musical instruments and when I'm in my hometown I like to focus on music and create a routine of practising, rehearsing and giving concerts. I've also worked teaching guitar and trombone.

I consider myself a very sociable person and a quick learner :)

Que habilidades tienes?

We're open to all kinds of work and experiences – we enjoy tapping into the different parts of ourselves and explore various kinds of skills. We have the soft skills, the motivation and the general knowledge to do any work, both able to get down and dirty :D

Even though we appreciate our company as a couple very much, we don't mind working on different projects.

Tėja:

Understanding and communicating with animals, understanding their body language comes naturally for me. I have experience with chickens, ducks, horses, donkeys, goats, dogs and cats.

For years now I’ve been living together with at least 5 more people. It taught me how to find a way to compromise, how to give and take and how to split the chores with others.

I'm the happiest when I can feel independent and can take tasks without asking too many questions.

For the last months I've been helping with the renovation of a little house, future rental place. Got more comfortable with construction kind of work, but more than that, I realised it's something I enjoy doing and would like to get better at.

Martín:

I also spend most of my life living together with other people so I am use to communal dynamics. I consider myself a clean, organised person and I know how to not be invasive.

I have always enjoyed the kind of physical work that does not require much thinking so I am not afraid of heavy work neither to perform repetitive tasks.

I love nature and any activities that involve getting in touch with natural elements. I've worked in the harvest, planting trees, collecting wood, gardening and so on.
