Hi
I am an active and outgoing person, who is just completing a 3.5 year position doing a start up, assisting a renovation and managing and working in a 21 room lodge in the west coast of Vancouver Island BC Canada. I have an EU passport (Irish) and am a Canadian citizen, and am planning to travel to Ireland and work in 2025. I feel workaway and the work for 'room and board' is an amazing opportunity. Please see my skills and the rest of my profile, but I am a hardworking, fit, friendly, reliable and very capable person to come to your home/business and help you.
I love travel, have travelled extensively, and am very excited to take 2025 to work and live overseas.

Hi
I have a diverse range of skills and experience. Before Covid, I ran a successful fitness business as a personal trainer and group fitness instructor. For 18 years I had this business and my specialty was working with fuller figured ladies, and 10 years working with chronic illness clients over 50 helping them to love themselves, work within their fitness level, and enjoy exercising. I was an older trainer and live in a fuller figured body myself, so it was a passion of mine and I loved the business and worked with people all the time.
During Covid, my business was closed/went online, and I got a job for a start up and reno of a large lodge in a remote part of Vancouver Island, and managed, worked with guests, helped with renos and set up and operated all daily tasks, guest services, the computer aspects of running an inn, cleaned rooms etc. I also manage an 5 cabin lodge. As such, I have experience with computers, small tools, am fit to do any work like building fences, gardening, outdoor and indoor work. I am great with people, and can share my website of the lodge I work at so you can see the reviews that mention me personally so you can learn more about me and my work ethic. I am in my mid 50's and so have a lot of work experience under my belt. I think out of the box, am extremely reliable and task oriented, work well with people and independently, and a hard worker.
I have also house sat for homes and cats and dogs in the homes (Canada), and grew up with dogs as pets. My family also had a hobby farm in my teens, so I have cleaned stalls, fed cows, chickens, horses etc in the past.

I like walking, hiking and exploring. I have taught yoga, fitness and dance classes. I would like to try to paint but do not at the moment. I also like to sing.
