Hey there,
we are Steffi & Philipp, a 33 year old couple from Germany.
We're here in beautiful Aotearoa for more than four years now and really enjoying our time here.
We came to New Zealand to have a time-out from our jobs and did a part of the long-distance-hike called the "Te Araroa" and tramped all the way from Ship Cove down to Arrowtown.
Since than we lived and worked in different parts of New Zealand but mainly on the southisland.
After travelling the Northisland we are now looking to "workaway" in the area of Auckland.
We are at the end of our 'New Zealand Adventure' and would like to have a base, so we can sell our Van etc and take time to say 'goodbye' to this wonderful country.

Back in Germany I studied architecture and worked in different offices for about 2 years.
In New Zealand I did all sorts of work like housekeeping, gardening and dairyfarming.
3 years ago I did a Baristacourse and worked in hospitality until now.

We both like beeing in nature, exploring new areas or enjoying well-known places either in hiking boots or on mountainbike.
Since we spent our last summer in Kaikoura we are also on the hunt for good waves.
Cooking while socializing with friends and family has always been a big part of our life. We value natural, local food and appreciate good company

We had a great time staying and would love to come back one day!
We did all sorts of gardening like planting weeding, mowing ect and felt really appreciated. There is good vibes all around, the cabin is cozy and we got lots of delicious food, even some cake!
Not forgetting Susi, the cutest little dog :)
