I love meeting people, exchanging stories, knowledge and skills. I am flexible and open to anything. I am great with people, plants, food and animals. I am a good all rounder having run a successful UK business and an off grid homestead in Spain. I love helping out wherever I can.

I have run a vegan Ayurvedic bistro, managed a 10 room hotel, organised activities for guests, spoken at a school, taught yoga and worked on a spice farm all in India. I have home and dog sat in UAE. I run my own homestead in Spain with animals, vegetables and fruit trees where I host workawayers but I like to get out and about meeting new people and learning from others as well as sharing my skills.

After a career in HR, focused on learning and development, I set up and ran a successful social care education business in the UK for 17 years (see www.greymatterlearning.co.uk now rebranded to Flourish).

In my free time, I supported and worked in a homeless charity in my UK home town and can provide references.

I am now living my dream life on an off grid homestead where I host workaways (I also have a profile on this site under hosts). I grow food, rescue and look after animals. I am passionate about sharing knowledge and learning. I took a yoga instructor course in India in April 2023 and lead classes and hikes locally. I love singing, dancing, playing padel and table tennis. I write my own songs and sing/jam in a band. I do a bit of painting (walls, furniture and art) and can sew. I can fix fences and cope with some DIY tasks. I am good at organising, problem solving, people management and motivating. I am flexible, cheerful and open to new experiences and adventures. I love travelling and meeting new people.

Been to 42 countries. Love to explore different cuisines. I like to cook and eat nutritious food, especially home grown. Happy to play cards and games both board and interactive. I play padel and table tennis. I love cuddling animals, especially dogs. Like to give big hugs to people and trees. Interested in herbal medicine and healing. I teach yoga and lead a local walking group. Love music festivals. I collect percussion instruments, the weirder the better. I use sound healing bowls. Love movies but I don't really watch TV. I have a campervan and have spent most of my life exploring. I worked in HR and training, I ran my own successful business for 17 years and have now achieved my goal of being free from corporate life. I sometimes do a bit of business consultancy, helping people to improve their businesses and creating online learning and content. I have a 31 year old son and have just had my first grandchild - I am going to be such a naughty grand parent. I love dancing (ecstatic and general), music, laughter, sometimes with a nice glass of wine.
