Hello, Hello :)))
My name is Roody (Living in France since 2015) and I am very excited about being part of this lovely community.
I like learning new things and bring ideas on board. I have a 15 years experience in hospitality (bartending, managing and consulting). I also worked as an independent filmmaker and photographer before I decided to focus on living an alternative life. A few years ago I discovered that I liked being outdoors, gardening, building, you know getting that feeling of accomplishment.
I am active and enjoy doing physical tasks but also those that demand planning and good execution. I especially like to see how a place is transformed (before and after). I have spent the last few months on an island south west of France gardening, doing construction and maintenance work.
I am currently working as a stage hand in the theater and planning on doing some workaway in the summers.

We've had a really nice time with Roody, both when working in the garden and in free time. It was "relatively easy work" as he says, because he's a hard worker too :) We learned from each other and had really nice chats and moments all together. A really nice human being, it's worth to mention

My experience was very good and everyone was amazing. There are many things that i learned about gardening. The family is open and kind. The house is spacious and the scenery is amazing.
