Hello!
My name is Riva, I am from the Netherlands. Back home I work as a nurse and I make and sell my own meditation pillows.

I love traveling and doing different kinds of workaway when traveling. For me its the best to be able to stay in one place for a longer amount of time, and really settle down. Get to know the country, city, town, culture, people. Having an experience of living/working abroad.
My first workaway was in Malaysia in 2018. I then was traveling through Asia for 8 months, and found out that workaway is such a great platform. The best travel experiences for me are the ones while I was doing workaway.
I met so many nice people during my workaway experiences, and stayed in amazing places for a longer amount of time. I really learned more about the culture of a country during these experiences.

I really love doing yoga, meditation, surf, travel, connect with people from all over the world, salsa/bachata, cook, pastry, raw cacao, plants, nature, health, hiking, the ocean.

My name is Dominik I'm from Germany. Since I traveled I worked as a musician and a physiotherapist.
I love to connect the body, the mind and the soul. Last year I offered many workshops and cacao ceremonies in countries like Costa Rica, Nicaragua and Peru. I would love to share my gifts in the current country I am traveling.

Update after reactiviting our account end of 2025:

So a lot happened in 2025, found out I was pregnant end 2024, so was pregnant in 2025, got engaged, got marrried and in June our son was born.
He is currently 6 months and I reactivited our workaway account to do Some family workaway adventures. Just in a different way now, going more for house / cat / dog sitting, animal care etc. Just things we can do as a family on workaway.

We stayed at Prasads house for 4 nights, just going to his house is already a beautiful ride in between the ricefields. His house is in a small village in the mountains, really quite and not touristic, which was really nice. I stayed 4 weeks volunteering at the hostel, and I really enjoyed my time there!! We surfed/skated a lot and made a lot of friends during my stay, both volunteers and guests! I really enjoyed staying in Tamarindo, during low season, it was not too crowded.
