About us:

We are a young couple in Australia hoping to live for a bit by the ocean, surf and experience connection with nature in everyday life. We are animals and mother Earth's lovers and would like to experience life with animals around, a garden and eat the foods that grow just outside the door, poor in chemicals and rich in nutrients. We are slowly figuring out how we want our lives to be and we believe that following these feelings for Nature will lead us in the right place.


About Femke:

If I had to describe myself I would say that I am a very kind, calm and creative woman who has a lot of love for animals. I love anything that has to do with arts, but mostly dancing, singing, making music, writing, drawing and so on. I love to have open conversations with people where we can share each other's life experiences.
Since this year there is also a big love for surfing growing inside of me. I love to be in this healthy environment of moving the body, dancing with the waves and most importantly being in the sun all day.
I want to be in nature as much as possible, walking barefoot, observing the animals and learn from our greatest teacher: Mother Earth. Beside this I have a passion for crochet and knitting and I can make all sort of things. I would love to teach you if you are interested.
Baking makes me very happy and some of my favourite recipes are banana bread and cinnamon scrolls. I can make them vegan too!
My biggest dreams at the moment are converting a school bus into my own house on wheels and to become a menstrual health coach, to be able to help as many women as possible getting back their connection with their cycle in an holistic way.


About Riccardo:

I am 25 years young and I have been travelling since I was 17. I visited quite some countries, had quite some experiences and I know that for now I want to live with the sun on my skin most of the time and the ocean a few steps away. I feel a strong connection and interest for plants and I aim, in the future, to live in the most natural possible way, which means growing and making most of the food that I consume, heal myself with plants, wear only natural fabrics, wash my body with only natural soaps,... It looks to me that we are losing this connection and knowledge, and I want to bring it back, for me at least, as much as possible.
Although I was born and grew up on the mountains and worked for quite some time on the ski slopes as a snowpark builder, I am completely in love with the ocean and the surf board. I love being in the water, I can't get out and I can't wait to get back in when I am not.
I have a lot to offer to the world, plenty of physical skills and abilities, a passion for food and cooking in general, a very good ear to open up and ask opinions or advices to and a kind, calm and positive energy. I want to show a brief full honest picture of me, so I want to say that I also get moments and days in which I feel down and not that positive, but I am doing my best every single day to get to know and understand myself better and better and accept those moments and days because they are there to teach me a lesson and show me something that I need to see.
I can communicate in five different languages and I am always keen to improve, and teach Italian (my mother tongue).
I noticed that in the last couple of years I lost connection to my creative side and I would like to get it back slowly. Drawing, painting, creating things, play music. These are all things that I used to love doing and that I would like to get back at.

Riccardo:
height and physical strength, gardening, using safely and confidently hand tools, power tools and motorized tools, working with big machines around me, handy man skills such as fixing things around the house, good manual skills, good problems solving, cooking skills, teamwork experience, childcare experience, good eye for the details, good listener.

Femke:
Cooking and baking skills, I am a fit and hard-working woman, and I can pick up new things easily. I have experience in housekeeping and therefore I can clean, I have skills in gardening, painting walls, childcare experience and pet sitting.
