Hello, I'm Kina :) 31yo and planning my 4th workaway journey abroad - I started in 2022 when I spent 6 months in England and Scotland and, because I had such great experiences, I decided to make workaway my main way of travelling, I love it!

Travelling has been a big part of my life since I turned 19 and went for a year volunteer experience in England. After that year I realized I didn't want to stay in my home country doing what everyone else my age was doing and, since then, I’m always making plans for new experiences abroad – I’ve also worked on a cruise ship between Alaska and Canada and was an AuPair in Massachusetts US for 2.5 years. I have a degree in Linguistics and hold a TEFL certification.

I believe myself to be a pretty self sufficient, reliable and proactive person. I'm outgoing and social but I also like some private space and alone time. Going on hikes, exploring villages, cities and historical places, cooking/eating, and chillin with a book or movie are things I love doing. I'm very open minded and curious and respect all peoples and cultures the same way I like to be respected :)

I grew up in the countryside and have always done things around our smallholding like helping in the garden and with the animals, picking fruits from the orchard and looking after our organic veggie patches. I would often ride horses while growing up, I'm not an expert but am a decent rider.

I also have a lot of experience in hospitality, specially since I became a workawayer. Here are the things I did:

And I love cooking and baking - specially vegetarian dishes and with sourdough.
