Hello, my name is John. I'm from Salt Lake City Utah and I was homeschooled for almost my entire education! After receiving a bachelor's degree in Communication Studies from Utah State University I moved to Nebraska to attend graduate school and then left to build a relationship with my partner (and also find better learning environments). I love meeting new people and learning new skills or knowledges and want to do so while she completes some seasonal labor.

And I'm Samantha (Sam)! I am originally from Georgia and am traveling to the northeast with my partner. I just finished my Masters in Communication Studies this past May (2024). I focused my degree in Sustainability and Environmental Edcuation!
I completed an agricultural work exchange in May of 2023 and am looking forward to continuing to gain skills through work trade! I love meeting new people and enjoy sharing stories where I go.

I have a pretty wide variety of different educational and work experiences!
I have a Bachelor's degree in Communication Studies and a minor in Sociology, and can teach or tutor humanities concepts. I have taught, supervised, and helped to raise children from ages 0-18 in care and educational settings. I speak English well and can teach either writing or speech and have comprehensive but somewhat elementary computer skills. I'm familiar with creative writing and poetry as well. I've worked on gardens, trails, and manicured landscapes and am no stranger to manual labor.

I enjoy reading and exploring different perspectives or theories. I enjoy being in the outdoors, but I like coming home to an air-conditioned place too. I love animals (especially cats!!), and I love getting to know them. I enjoy music and I can sing and play the piano.
I really enjoy playing Dungeons and Dragons, I think it's an awesome way to goof around and exercise cooperative storytelling! So cool!
