Hi there ,
I`m Conny , I live in the south of the Netherlands, near Maastricht. I`m a single mom of 59, one son who is studying.
Years ago I started working abroad during my holiday, I took my son with me, I worked on a campsite and the 2 of us had a great time.
Nowadays he doesn't accompany me anymore, but I became affected with this way of travelling.
I already did a number of workaway adventures , worked in Germany, France and the UK.
I have met great people and seen lovely spots, people and places you wouldn't meet or see being a "normal tourist".
I have done lots of jobs , helped with cleaning , painting, cooking and even helped moving to another house. I did house sitting and took care of animals like cats and dogs but also goats, chickens and alpaca's .
Every now and then I had to take care of kids as well.
I especially like to work outside gardening, I like to make my hands dirty , feeling uplifted by working in nature. I have my own experience with (no dig) permaculture and took a course in developing a food forest. At home I`m trying to create an edible garden on my own allotment.

I used to work in ICT, but after 15 years I quit , I wanted to do more meaningfull work and started re-educating in childcare. Having worked with kids about 10 years I again re-educated and now work as a social worker. I always want to educate myself and promote a live-long-learning.

I´m looking for a quiet place far away from crowds , I love to hear just birds singing; I`m definitely NOT a city girl....I would love to learn more about preserving foods and determining edibles in the wild. I do not expect you to entertain me , I love to go for a walk (with a dog ??) on my own or just to read a nice book. I don`t smoke nor drink alcohol, I like veggie, but it's not a must.
