Hello! I’m an 18-year-old female from Perth, Western Australia, and proudly the first Australian in my family. I grew up surrounded by art, music, and stories from across the world, which sparked my love for creativity and my lifelong desire to travel. I recently graduated high school, where I studied ATAR psychology, mathematics, human biology, art, and literature, earning a distinction in art. Creativity has always been part of my identity—I paint, sketch, and explore new mediums whenever I can, and I hope to carry that passion with me to every corner of the world.

Next year, I’ll be beginning my studies in psychology, but during my university breaks I’m determined to see as much of the world as possible. My parents travelled widely in their youth, and their stories inspired me from a young age. My dream is to visit every continent, learn from each place I go, and collect tattoos inspired by the landscapes, people, and cultures that shape my journey.
I’m driven by new experiences and feel most at home outdoors. A recent trip to California and Yosemite National Park deepened that love—hiking the Yosemite Falls peak in winter was one of the most rewarding challenges I’ve ever taken on. Back home, my family and I hike sections of the Bibbulmun Track every year, often covering up to 70 km over a few days. I’m a strong, healthy, and motivated young woman who loves pushing myself physically and mentally.

I also love working with people—especially children. I have experience babysitting and would be thrilled to volunteer abroad, teaching arts and crafts or helping children learn English. With four years of experience as a barista and café assistant, I’m confident, friendly, and comfortable talking to people from all walks of life. I love connecting with regulars, meeting new customers, and sharing simple moments of kindness and conversation.

Overall, I’m enthusiastic, curious, and always eager to learn new skills. I want to immerse myself in different cultures, give back where I can, and grow through every experience. I’m excited to explore the world, challenge myself, and bring my creativity, positivity, and open heart to every place I visit.

I think that learning and teaching language is a vital part of cultural emersion and I am keen to share and connect with many people across the world! Since my father is welsh I learnt a few words in welsh through my life and am motivated to learn more of it as it is a dying language. I am currently trying to learn Italian in preparation for an upcoming trip in June. The Italian language is, in my opinion, one of the most beautiful and eloquent languages of the world and I would love to learn it to an intermediate or even higher level!

I’m a capable, adaptable, and motivated young traveller with a wide range of skills suited to volunteering, cultural exchange, and hands-on help. With four years of experience as a barista and café assistant, I’m confident in hospitality work, customer service, cleaning, food prep, and keeping busy environments running smoothly. I’m friendly, reliable, and comfortable chatting with people from all backgrounds!

I have a strong creative background, having studied ATAR-level art and earning a distinction. I paint, sketch, and work with different materials, so I’m more than happy to help with artistic projects, murals, decorating, or any creative tasks around homes, hostels, or community spaces. I especially love teaching arts and crafts to children and would be excited to run small workshops or activities.
Through babysitting experience, I’ve developed patience, calmness, and the ability to connect genuinely with children. I’m happy to help with childcare, playtime, basic English practice, homework, and creative learning. I’m also comfortable assisting with household chores, organising spaces, and maintaining a clean and supportive environment.

Outdoors, I’m physically strong, healthy, and experienced in hiking and long-distance walking. I’m confident with physical labour, gardening, basic maintenance, or any tasks that involve being active and working outside.

I pick up new skills quickly, adapt easily to different cultures and routines, and always bring a positive, respectful attitude. I love contributing wherever I go—whether that’s helping in a hostel, supporting a family, joining community projects, or assisting with eco and outdoor work. I’m enthusiastic, hardworking, and excited to learn from every person and place I encounter through Workaway.

I enjoy reading books and writing creative texts, and would love to share stories and take any book recommendations!
I’m also a huge animal lover! I have two cats and a dog at home who I adore, and caring for them has made me confident and comfortable working with animals of all kinds. I’m very keen to help with any animal care, from feeding and cleaning to walking, grooming, or general farm and shelter tasks. I’m not easily grossed out and don’t shy away from the messy or hands-on parts of animal work. I approach animals with patience, gentleness, and genuine affection, and I’m always eager to learn more about their care and behaviour.
