Hello everyone!

We are Juliette and Olivier, a French couple currently on a sabbatical year since August 2025. We’re travelling around Europe countries with our converted camper van 🚐

We come from the Pyrenees 🏔 (south of France). We’re curious to discover new landscapes, different cultures, and above all, to meet new people, share experiences, exchange ideas and grow from each encounter.
We love nature, hiking, and of course... tasting new foods 🤗

Before setting off on this adventure, we renovated our house (mainly Olivier, but Juliette helped a lot with painting, gardening, cleaning, and general organisation 👩‍🎨).
Some of the work we did: painting, gardening, some electrical work, flooring renovation, decorating, and installing a full kitchen.
We’re both pretty handy and can definitely help out with a wide range of tasks.

Juliette:
I'm super fond of travels and languages, I naturally chose to study tourism.
Today, I work in the tourism industry, promoting our region and organising events — I absolutely love my job! It allows me to meet people and travel all over France.

I want to use this gap year to travel, of course, but also and above all to gain new experiences, meet people, and learn new skills. I am particularly interested in gardening, gastronomy, and animal care.

I’m a joyful, energetic, curious, and very sociable person. I love hiking, cooking, dancing, reading, running, watching movies, spending time with friends, and taking care of our plants and our little vegetable garden (mainly tomatoes, green beans, cucumbers, and aromatic herbs).

My three biggest passions are: taking care of my plants (I have nearly 50 at home! 🌿), cooking & eating, and flamenco dancing 💃.
I started dancing 5 years ago and I find it incredibly beautiful and powerful ❤️

Olivier:
I’m 35 years old. I worked for several years in the aeronautics industry, as a technical engineer, before realising that spending my days inside a factory wasn’t for me.
What I really enjoy is being outdoors and doing manual work.
That’s why I decided to switch careers and work at a ski resort — also because we live in the Pyrenees and I looooove skiing 😁.
I now work as the maintenance manager for ski lifts.
Sports are a true passion of mine: I do trail running, hiking, skiing, ski touring, mountain biking, and many other outdoor sports like climbing and canyoning.
I also enjoy cooking, gardening, DIY projects, and spending time with children (I’m a proud uncle to 5 nephews!).
And of course, I love meeting new people, discovering different ways of living, trying new food, and seeing new landscapes.

We can’t wait to meet you, help you, and discover your place!

We like joking a lot and are not taking ourselves too serioulsy ! We like simple things and are happy with nothing (it’s better when you live in a campervan 🤣). We are really motivated to discover new ways of life and looking forward to meeting you 😊
