Laurits.
I have a lot of passions, music, learning, cooking, sports social media, and more. I'm an easy learner and a happy face all the time, it's never a problem to work hard and I'm always 200% committed.
I'm very good at understanding people (also through language barriers) and my enthusiasm for this project is sky-high.
Biology, culture, and permaculture are something that I get carried away with very easily.
I have a lot of experience in construction sites and would love to lend a hand and participate with everything I know.
Animals and farming are also something I would like to know more about😉 I have a habit were I invest a lot of my energy in what im doing.

Hello future hosts/workawayers.

My name is Nikolai, I am a 22-year-old guy living in Denmark. I am about to embark on a journey in my gap year with two of my close friends whom I have known for many years. We met during a boarding school stay and have a very strong bond as a result. We have no trouble living together as we know each other's strengths and weaknesses.
Currently, I am working at a major newspaper publishing company in Copenhagen called "Politiken", where I spend my days. I am a very open-minded and rational person who loves challenges. I have previously been on a 2-month trip to South and Central America, where I visited Costa Rica, Ecuador, and the amazing Galapagos Islands. Because of this, I am longing to go back to South America.

I have always been a very athletic person and enjoy engaging in healthy competitions. I have participated in athletics, swimming, badminton, sailing, and especially amateur football.
One of my true passions is wine. I am enthusiastic about understanding the process, exploring different flavors, and immersing myself in the wonderful culture that surrounds the world of wine. I enjoy learning about different grape varieties, wine production techniques, and the art of wine tasting. I am also excited to be able to share my knowledge and passion with other wine enthusiasts.

Laurits:
- Construction site, beton finish, plumber pipe-isolation and pipe setup, boat repair
I have been working for a job agency specializing in construction sites where I got to learn how to trowel with concrete at one job and set up pipes from another. I was in a project where I was setting up a boat on the inside and also doing some epoxy repair at the hull of the boat.
- Taking care of children in a kindergarten, we went on field trips, and had a lot of fun. It also included feeding the children of course and making sure of their well-being and them taking nabs.
- Polishing cars and cleaning. I have worked for two companies, one of them selling cars, and the other repairing. My job was to clean, polish, and make the cars 100% ready for customers.
- Bartender and resturant
I worked in a Ciderbar/restaurant for a year-ish and took all the responsibilities for the small business. We worked alone most of the time so there was a lot to do.
- Planning events
This is more like a personal interest and a skill that I would love to exercise. I always enjoy planning events for my friends and family.
- Sailing
I sailed to and from Amsterdam starting in Copenhagen. While doing that I took a small interest in fishing and would be very invested in learning some more about it.

I have worked at a well-known sushi restaurant in Copenhagen, where I gained experience in a busy and challenging work environment.
I have also worked on a construction site, where I acquired skills in construction work and learned to be hands-on.
Furthermore, I have been responsible for closing operations at a major retail chain in Denmark called Irma. This role has taught me to take responsibility and make independent decisions.
I am highly curious, quick to learn, and always ready for new challenges.

I've always been a big fan of farming, which has sparked a natural interest in agriculture for me. I'm always on the lookout for opportunities to learn more about the subject and I'm not afraid to get my hands dirty.
Lastly, I just want to say that I'm a laid-back guy who is easy to get along with. So, I'm looking forward to another adventure.
