Hello! How are you? My name is Nikita, I'm a 33-year-old French woman.

Currently taking a break in Cairns, I’m looking for a quiet place in Sydney to settle down before and after Christmas, so I can focus on my job search.

About me:

I’ve had the chance to live in various places: two years in the Caribbean, six months in Canada, six months in Scotland, fifteen months in New Zealand, and six months in the Netherlands. I've been in Australia for the past two years.

My professional background includes seasonal jobs in horticulture (Nz and Aus), followed by experience as an animal carer, especially working with primates across Europe. I’m now focusing on using my Master’s degree in Communication to pursue a career in public relations, with the aim of applying for permanent residency in the future.

I’m passionate about tropical forests, wild landscapes, the sea, and mountains. Australia, with its incredible wildlife and natural beauty, feels like the perfect place for me.

As a backpacker it's not always easy to meet the locals and I'm not enjoying anymore the hostel, so I though Workaway could be a good opportunity !

Clean, tidy, organize, reorgansier, decorate is not a problem for me.

Afters years of summers jobs experiences, I'm comfortable with them.

DIY & GARDEN
I don't have any specials skills for DIY but I'm curious to learn and motivated.

After picking, prunning and thinning seasons of tomato, cherry, kiwifruit, avocado and kumara, I begin used to work with fruits and trees.

ECOLOGY & SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT
Anything around this subjects interests me too (ecological construction, permaculture, self-sufficiency ...)

I would like to practise more yoga, learn how to make honney, jam, and fish ! :)
