Hey there :)

This is Matteo, 23, freshly graduated in Environmental Engineering, gearing up for my next quest: a run across Italy from its southernmost point, Portopalo di Capo Passero, Syracuse, Sicily, to its northernmost in Predoi, Trentino Alto Adige, right at the border with Austria. I'll be going solo, planning some camping along the way, carrying all the necessary gear, and aiming to keep an average pace of a marathon a day 💪🏼. I'm keen to meet as many people as possible during my journey to share stories, moments, and maybe even a few kilometers 🤝.

The adventure kicks off on May 1st in Portopalo di Capo Passero.

I have already been involved in the following activities like fencing an area, cutting trees with ax and chainsaw (I love ax)), digging, designing and building wooden objects, making a door in the wall, painting, taking care of animals especially horses.

I also have experience in other types of work. I worked at a pool as a lifeguard for several summers and also gained experience as a waiter and bartender.
Also, I have been babysitting two children for family friends for the past few winters.
